I have had them for 5 years now in Thailand and they have been absolutely brilliant, On two occasion they even covered some out patient procedures which should not have been covered. Spent 2 days in the hospital last year with DENGUE fever and they covered 100%. I have 5 friends here also and there stories are similar...ABSOLUTELY BEEN EXCELLENT!

None what so ever...and I don't expect anything different then what they had been doing the past few months. I think someone needs to [police the police. The new Mayor is not Military, although he and his fellow new group of leaders were designated to manage the city my the Military.
Is the military coming to take over in Pattaya too?
Not quite, we are told. However, the military are appointing a committee of twelve members, Chanatpong Sriviset, taking over as acting mayor. And that’s all. Instead of an election there will be the appointment of a team of experts, chosen by the military.
It remains to be seen how that will all work out but, along with the arrival of a new police chief and a promise to clean up the crime rate in the town, there may well be a greater police and/or military presence on the streets.
Some would say this is a good thing. We are about to find out.

well we all agree its slowed down,In my building we are all using the same provider, and once we recently added 2 more subscribers things slowed down. I'am of the opinion we just have to many users for the amount of signal designated for our area. I believe this occurs in many places and sine there is no recourse in this country for not getting what you pay for we don't have any choice. Typically what should occur is Signal boosters would be added were there many subscribers to make sure they get the signal they are paying for.

The majority of the excess rainfall which makes its way to the beach has never been sent thru the city’s water-treatment plant. its just takes the course of gravity and least resistance

they don't do them. The best thing you can do is find a good Thai interpret and take them along with you to a metal fabricating shop along with a good drawing, Then also take them to your place to get actual real measurements.
I haVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SCREEN DOORS FOR YEARS, NEVER SEEN A ONE

It take ms a long time to find a good one, you really have to give them every opportunity to screw up and never ever trust them. I hd 2 Two year girlfriends and eventually caught them out, now i have been with a girl for 9 years and she is yet to screw up , but i keep waiting. Also sometimes its not the girl its the family and the demands they put on the girl.
Take your time and do everything slowly!
Don't make any major purchases for at least 2 years, and even then do a lot at one time , many a bloke has been turned over once a house is built.
And never any Gold before 2 years and then a small piece.
Usually a girl will let you know here financial dreams pretty quickly.
Good luck and do it SLOWLY!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Jess on possibly finding your first 'long gamer'... [insert emoticon here]
THANKS SO MUCH, but i do keep my self skeptical and alert on all fronts, there are just to many unreal stories that have occurred here and i do not wish to be one.
Thanks again for your kind words

for 12 to 13 thousand baht you can expect about 27 to 35 sq. meters in Jomtien. If you go to the dark side you might be able to attain that much space for 12 to 13. Good luck. and i would be very interested if you do find something above 50sq. meters. for that price.
Good luck

maybe some people are blind, so i put again my post #205
A thai friend of mine who live in Bkk, confirmed the situation is actually quite awful in pattaya.
Its not only foreigners who avoid pats, but we have also an exodus of thai worker from this city.
My friend told me, that in the last few months, he heard several thais did leave pattaya to relocate in Bangkok.
These people were working as bbq seller, cloths seller, haircut dresser, waiter etc.
The main reason, their income was so low this year, due to a lack of farangs, they have no option but to go look for a work somewhere else.
@ JESSEVANPELT, i am not talking about hookers, but honest hard worker people . The exodus started apperently before the low season.... and thats unusual!
I did not mention hookers!....all business in Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Phuket go through the season moves of the population, they work there when there are jobs and leave when the jobs are done, normally to go home to plant the first crop before rainy season. Simple basic Thailand as its been for years.

Every year for the last 12 I have seen the busses arrive with all kinds of people coming from Isaan to find work and once high season is ver with they go home. I walk around this city daily and there is no shortage of food stalls and very few shuttered buildings...You can also find many places looking for employees. I walked past the big AA hotel yesterday and they were putting up the posting for the open jobs, once it was up i counted 32 jobs. There is nothing going on in this city besides Low (slow) season.
And there were more farina's here this year then the past 5, So please do some research before making silly statements.
This whole topic is baseless

Thats not much to be proud of for a new Mall?
Which ones failed so we don't go there and eat and get sick?
I hope they closed the failed ones down for 30 days.

There is a shop on Soi Lengkee on the left side as you walk up from Soi Buakhao that is now advertising 100 baht a day rentals.
Hope this helps

There is a global monetary crisis at the moment , things will pick up in the distant future, and Pattaya will still be here .
A global monetary crisis? where are you coming from? The Dollar is stronger then it has been, The Pound lately is just slightly below its 5 year average, and well I admit the Aussie Dollar is weak, But nothing near a crisis!
The strength of the Dollar and Pound are part, if not the cause, of the monetary crisis.
S your method to cover up some weak comment is to send me an article supporting Gold? Can you not answer your own statement? Show me where the crisis is occurring? I know the answer you cant because its not.
And the name calling just verifies your weakness!

Most of the currencies that are tied to the dollar are also doing very well, So please provide me with some facts rather then a very weak opinion

I have been using a written agreement from my apartment manager for years without any problems, but it is a rental contract, so it looks somewhat like a formal document not just a note on paper if you follow me>
