  2. Sorry, I missed that in the article. This is what he told me, first time I visited him.
  3. Thailand has one of the highest incarceration rates of any country. Not as high as USA of course.
  4. After John's arrest, before he faced a judge, he refused to give up his source so he was severely beaten, kicked repeatedly in the head 8 broken teeth.
  5. "they take turns in sleeping and laying down " Which are waiting to lie down.?
  6. "Known" dangers: Junk food, sugar/carbs/grains, fats / oils meat [gout] dairy [Bovine Growth Hormones in cows milk] diet 'coke' water in styrene bottles. covid vax & prolly all mercury containing vaccines Statin drugs MOA inhibiters dengue fever most drugs. doctors motorbikes wing-suit flying cobras life
  7. Hanging around having Pumpkin House comp brecky, egg, rice, sausage, mini-avocados, bananas & oranges also in season. Hopefully Anoon my local guide will show up. Word is he had to shoot over to Pai last evening. So 50-50. He rides a CRF w/ 17"wheels, supr-moto style. Here is the route. About 4 hrs by Lifan. Some stream fording involved. 😎
  8. Isaan looks so exotic.
  9. Amsoil recommends it's Saber 2T oil be used at 100:1. & has been lab tested to meet standards at 300:1 dilution. The ingredient esters stick to steel cylinder wall & bearing surfaces most tenaciously. Remember. There is no other crankcase oil in a two stroke..👍🏼 Thanks for playing.
  10. Farengie are rare here. No 7-11 stores. No ATMs. No gangi shops. Pretty cool. √ it out sometime. Pumpkin House This spot had 2 feet water flooding 7 weeks ago. The mighty Lifan.
  11. All this Tulsy Gabbard is a threat blah blah is all fake news. Totally understandable that jingthing buys into it 100%. 5 5
  12. pap flew to Chiangmai last week and rented a Lifan 200X from Riders Corner. Nov 25 rode to: Mont Lan Chang Homestay & Restaurant, 319 หมู่ 3 Saen Hai, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Nov 26 rode paved roads in the area w/ a German guy I met. Nov 27. Hired a local to guide me to: Pumpkin Pikun Guesthouse, 212 หมู่3 Mueang Khong, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai 50170 by the river road [40-meter narrow suspension bridge had papa puckered up.] and back by the mountain way. 100km; 5hr total incl breaks & lunch. "Guide" & his buddy each rode Kawasaki 150cc KLX. Turns out they hadn’t been this way before. 5 5 Nov 28 SW over the mountains to Pai. The place is packed w/ tourists. Nov 30 over to Pumpkin again. The cottage where I’m sleeping tonight had 80cm water for 2 days Oct 4 from flooding. They’ve been working since to fix everything. Will dallying for a few days.
  13. IMO this is exactly how common fuel stabilizers work. If not, pray inform how they actually work. There are a myriad of different esters. Artificial flavors and fragrances for example. That is why the uni- organic chemistry labs often smell like an explosion in a bubble-gum factory. 5 5 These esters we are talking about here are stable at high temps. Nazis developed, and now universally used lube for jet engines. But not stable when contacting water, which is why they aren't used in crankcase of daily drivers. Esters are vital component in 2T oil. 2T oil acts as a fuel stabilizer also. Also, the molecule is highly polar and sticks to steel tank real good for anti-rust.
  14. papa no want sick carburator. 5 5 . OKay.: 1. Totally filling the tank minimizes infiltration of atmospheric HOH. 2. Once some fuel evaporate then some air gets in, and then .changes/fluctuation in atmospheric pressure & temp introduce water into tank. 3. In a pure hydrocarbon [gasolene] situation. the immissable HOH sinks to bottom of tank. [Light-plane pilots drain the water off (sump the tanks) during pre-flight] 4. With gasohol [hydrocarbon + alcohol] Etol dissolves the water and mixture sinks to bottom of tank. This is the stuff that turns to gunk. Chemical stabilizers are esters. In lab: alcohol + carboxylic acid --> ester + water. The reverse occurs in the tank and eliminates the free water: HOH + the 'sacrificial' ester --> alcohol + carboxylic acid, both of which combust just fine. Sorry if papa has explained this poorly.
  15. 5 5 Never. The phenominum is well known. Carbs are more susceptible than FI. Ester based fuel stabilizers are better prophylaxis. ... see Project Farm, YT. [3,360,000 subscribers] papa learns from others' experiences. Up to you. 😉
  16. Not the same. If you added the Etol to the gasoline before storage, you'd risk a gummy mess.
  17. A month or so no prob. For several months papa recommends filling tank with non-ETOL fuel, i.e., pure gasoline, which is more stable. Also add a little oil in the gas to help thwart tank rusting. Or not.
  18. Maybe take a photo of the controller and do a google-image search.
  19. You could put black tape over the light.
  20. Interesting read for sure. 25% reduction in accidents would be great. papa has been down a couple times which ABS might have prevented.
  21. that shop prolly bills at $150/hr. 5 5
  22. Once you find those good shops life is a breeze. iMoto in Patty for tires for example.
  23. So; what's your point.? that the referenced article is not of interest.? It all has to be about you and your scooters.?
