Assume that you have a valid VISA/Visa extension and you are forced to go back to your home country for a surgery. You surgery, or the revalidation period, takes longer as the date of your next VISA extension. Can you ask for a visa extension in your country or by post in this case (Medical urgency)?

Ooohhhhhhhhh They ware selling Monkeys for medical research. Reading the title, I thought that they were selling THAI PEOPLE for medical research. I was astonished to read that anybody would be ready to pay 100,000 baht for a Thai national. You can get them much cheaper nowadays with the right connections.

Pedophily is a business just like any other business. There are millios of people who know how to access this information and are looking for it (even if they have to pay for it). Yes, it's sickening for the mainstream citizen, but not for the millions of Pedo's out there. I came accross a ring on the internet that published pictures of children for "Cannibalism". "Children right out of the oven". Couldn't eat anything for a week... So many freaks living around us

Because our great leader Tutu said that Thai would become the world language and would bypass even the English language
-
A few years ago, our big leader Prayuth claimed that "Thai could be world's new english". So, how many countries have chosen Thai as their first or second language by now? Would it be safe to assume that at least 1/3 of the world speaks Thai by now, or not?

Facebook/Meta is a place infested with scammers and even chsing to add someone as a friend need to be done with a lot of caution. Facebook/Meta should be banned by the governments until they CLEAN their act. Reporting someone or Blocking someone is only done for your account, not for other users. And even after Blocking, the user is still listed in your account, but you can not see who they are. Example: I have about 10 people sending me a "Like" on a post, but if I hover that "Like" nobody is listed. TIME to act for the Governments. -
1. Get a lawyer in Belgium, 2. Give your lawyer the full authorization. 3. Let your lawyer handle everything, including the legalisation and thai embassy in Brussels. You save yourself a trip to Belgium, but will spend probably 1,500 - 2,000 Eur on lawyer fees. That's the way I did it in another case.

What to do if Thai police stop you and attempt a ‘shake-down’
Confuscious replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I had a car accident a decade ago, with a Thai pedestrian. A day later, at the police station, the whole family of the pedestrian came at the police station to claim what a good "boy" he was, supporting his parents and the family in the 15th degree. As I was not speaking or understanding Thai very well, I could only understand that they asked 300,000 baht recompenses. I decided to call my lawyer, who was a few minutes later at the police station. He took the case over from me and told me politely to go home. A few days later, he called me and said that everything was settled and he asked 5,000 baht for his services. Ever since that day, if I encounter such cases, I call my lawyer and don't get involved with these things. -
Not True, but similar. A few years ago, I was fed up with my Internet provider and one day people were putting billboards in the street advertising for 3BB speed Internet. I took a go and subscribed for their package. At first, their Internet was really fast. But after a few days, a tortue goes faster as their internet. I went back to the shop to make a complaint and showed them the printouts of the 3bb speed. They sent people over and the answer from the technicians was that I was using an outdated notebook. After a few days communication, I went to my lawyer and asked for her advice. It seemed that the contract had printed in very small characters that if they could not meet the proposed speed, I was entitled to bring the whole stuff back and cancel the contract. Which I did.

Not in Tops, but another supermarket (Big-C). Today, I was shopping in Big-C and I noticed a stack of rotating mops which were priced down by 50% and the new price was clearly advertised: 799 baht. I decided to take 1 box with me. But at the cassier, the charged me 999 baht for the box. I went to the desk if front of the cassier and made a complaint. The lady went to look at the stack and she came back with the excuse that it was a WRONG PRICING and the cassier can only charge what the Barcode shows. I told the lady that I was not happy with her story and I wanted a refund. The lady called the manager at the phone and after a short discussion I was refunded the difference. If you can open your mouth, you don't need to accept faulty prices.

There is a court which handle only things like this. And if you can speak Thai, you will not need a lawyer But for a case like yours, a few hundred baht, i would swallow my pride and let that as a lesson
