  1. I bet it was a foreign thief who only showers 1 time a day. Follow the bad cheese smell to catch him.
  2. Overpasses are useless. On Mittraphap Road in Korat, between Big-c/Terminal 21, there are 2 overpasses and they are rarely used. People uses now the lift and the covered overpass at Terminal 21 out of convenience. But the other overpasses are not used. Who wants to climb a stair and walk on an overpass in the 45 degrees sunshine? Drivers need to learn to STOP for a pedestrian. Failing to stop for a pedestrian should carry high sentences. That's the only way to move forward with the Thai traffic.
  3. Did anyone tried this sim? UNLIMITED But only for 6 social media applications (Facebook, Line, etc.). Social 4G+ SIM: Prepaid SIM from TrueMove H SIM for Social People. Enjoy 6 social apps with unlimited data.
  4. 30 MB seems to be very low to me. Typing error maybe?
  5. Which browser do you use? Can you use it in a mobile? I haven't tested it yet, but many sites refuse to load if there is an ad-bloc active. Let's ask a moderator if this is true for this forum.

  7. I posted on a similar thread a few days ago about the hidden costs of DeeMoney (and most of these packages). It;s a lot of money which is lost on the transferts!!!!! I did not yet asked the bank, but maybe they would accept to wire the funds from bak to bank without changing it first to Thai Baht and then again to EUR/US Dollar. What is FCD Account for Non-Residents? FCD Account for Non-Residents is Bangkok Bank’s foreign currency deposit service that enables you to deposit foreign currency in 14 main currencies. You can deposit, withdraw or transfer the money in the account without converting money into local baht suitable for non-residents who would like to save foreign currency earned from overseas and convert them to baht whenever they prefer the exchange rate and for non-residents who work in Thailand and would like to save money in foreign currency in the account. https://www.bangkokbank.com/en/Personal/Save-And-Invest/Save/FCD-Account-for-Non-residents
  8. Many answers here are NOT really "Unlimited". They are LIMITED to a certain amount of GigaBytes, and once reached that amount they go to a slow pace of a few Mb/Sec. 70Gb may seem a lot, but I did a simple test, reading ASEANNOW for about 30 minutes and 5GB was downloaded on advertising movies and photo's. So, if you spend 30 minutes each day to only read the AseanNow, your package will not last a month.
  9. I forgot to mention that the yearly Rental Contract (standard sheets availalble everywhere) need to be stamped with TAX STAMPS. NO Tax Stamps = NOT accepted. Luckely, the Tax Stamps are available at the Copy Shop next to Immigration .....
  10. AFAIK, Korat immigration has always been asking to provide proof a place of residence with my Retirement Visa extension. I was required to have a valid 1 year rental contract, with a copy of the ID-Card of the landlord. Even a few months ago at my visa extension. Every immigration office has different rules. What Documents Do I Need When Applying for a Thailand Visa Extension? If you have family relations to a Thai national: Proof of family relationship such as a Marriage or Birth Certificate Map showing the location of the household (and maybe even pictures) Proof of the required financial means Rental contract The ID of the Thai national You may also have to submit family pictures If you want to retire in Thailand: Proof of the required financial means/deposit in the Thai bank Proof of monthly income Proof of residence
  11. Can you provide a little bit more information about the card? Type? Link?
  12. I have a separate SIM-Card since 15 years which is only for phone-calls and SMS (3G). The unlimited SIM Card would be used in a separate GSM and used only for Internet browsing.
  13. I don't know about the situation in other places of Thailand, but in Korat, most of the DTac outlets have been closed and their website refers to True for all their SIM Cards. Most likely, the DTac sim cards will be pulled out of the market and will be merged with TRUE.
  14. Can you specify the type of SIM Card? Picture?
  15. Do you have an unlimilted INTERNET/WIFI SIM card? How much do you pay? What Speed up/down? TIA
  16. I've heard that there will be a Condominium free in Dubai next month. Might be a good place to retire now that he still can.

  18. That means that in case she would be get judged, she will be allowed to give birth to the child and then she will be transferred to the woman jail in Bangkok until the child had a certain age. Many woman in that jail.
  19. I was hospitalized in urgency last year with high fever, losing conciousness, a.o. symptoms. After about 2 hours of testing by different doctors, it was diagnosed that Galstones were blocking my Bladder. I stayed at the hopsital 9 days. During my stay at the hospital, I got an offer for Laparoscopy (4 days stay at the hospital) for 25,000 THB. My doctor gave his VETO on this surgery and it was not carried out. The hospital was the Fort Suranaree in Korat.
  20. I posted long time ago a similat question as I have put money in a Thai bank for my Visa extension and want to move the money out of Thailand now with minimal losses. I contacted DeeMoney and raised the question. Their answer was: - How much is the fee and other expenses to move these funds? : The transfer free fee is THB 133.75 Nett per time per transaction. The transfer free fee is the flat fee rate. - Will the funds be moved directly from Thailand to Belgium or will the funds first be converted to Thai Baht on the withdrawing and from Thai baht to Euro on the transfert to Europe? : We transfer the money from Thai Baht to currency as per the recipient's country. For Belgium is available for a Euro currency. The payment will settle by your Thai Mobile Banking application at the end of process. So, that means that they will do 2 exchanges before shipping out the funds to Belgium. A quick calculation: 50.000 Euro x 36.459 = 1.822.950 THB 1.822.950 ThB / 37,639 = 48,832 EUR Difference: 50,000 - 48,832 = 1.168 EUR This means that you lose 1.168 Euro (42.548 THB) in the transaction on top of the fees. Think about that before transferring your money to Thailand.
