  1. Kickboxer with jean claude vandamme i was ashamed to be Belgian god that guy made some crap movies.

Jealous much? name some of the movies you've made, I'm excited to see what movies a genius like you has produced.

Nah he doesnt live far from me so i can say it in his face if i think one of his movies suck.

You live in California? yeah I'm sure you easily could, that's why you have done so already right? you would get a swift kick in the head. wink.png

He moved back to Belgium a few years ago smart arse he lives with his wife Gladys Portugese in a town called Knokke by the Belgian coast his mother and father also live in said town two weeks after moving back here he parked his suv drunk in to a tree it was al over the news here.

See? That's the problem with, um, actually LIVING here; one misses rubbing elbows with luminaries like van Damme.

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

fairly ironic, as Thialand would be one of the more likely of places you would run into Van Damme, since he travels here all the time.

Well he just had hip replacement surgery done in the beginning of 2013 in hospital in a town called Gent in Belgium ,his hollywood lifestyle was beginning to take its toll on him a few years back and he was a wreck when he came back coke and heroin can do that to a person. He got back in shape for the expendables 2 over here and is very good friends with tony jaa.

I didnt like kickboxer because it has nothing to with muay thai actually and his so called opponent in the movie tong po or whatever he was called was a second rate porn actor and the only lines they had was may lee good fxxk .

So if thats youre idea of good movie whatever rocks youre boat pall.

  2. Crap vid they should call themselves the Thai Chineses living overseas ,They live in pc correct America where they have all these nice laws in place such as freedom of speech and then are talking down on rural uneducated poor racism and bigotry in its purest form.

Most Thai living abroad come from isaan if they all would register to vote in their embassys they would be in for a surprise in the old country.

Ive met some of these so called Thai chinese woman in my country with their uni degrees wich are worth nothing here the best jobs they can land here is stacking shelves in the local supermarket or start a Thai shop or restaurant of course in farang hubbys name beause their to lousy to learn the language and get a small business degree.

  3. Have been seeing Thai doctors for more than a decade, mostly at military hospitals, since the wait is so long to get the medication at the hospital, I get a subscription and have it filled at my usual drugstore. Since Thailand has socialized medicine, you do not need a subscription to buy most medications, you can tell the pharmacists whats wrong and they will give you what they think will help you, just like pharmacists used to do in the states, in the 1940's.

In the village we go to the clinic the doctor gives you a prescription and we have it filled at the village pharmacy, Maybe because I rarely visit private doctors, I have not run into doctors, that sell medication!

    Cheers

Kikko are people from the Thai government paying you to promote their country or what ?i know a few Thai people in my country who would fall laughing on the ground after reading this post whas meds or magic mushrooms given to you by the local village kwak ?yeah the 1940 ........

It is quite evident, you just do not like hearing the truth, There are so many miserable farangs in this country, that dislike everything about Thailand, or anyone that has a great life here. Maybe they should stop being so negative, their perception of a less miserable existence will, improve their stay in Thailand!

I know in the morning I will wake up to another beautiful day in a country I love, I hate to think what you will wake up to!

Obviously you never lived in the states in the 1940's, I did!

How old are you? I and none of my parents lived in the states in th 1940ties but my grandfather died in 2009 but was born in 1923 and spent most of his teenage life doing forced labour in nazi germany during the war, you must be super man .Did you also helped to build the bridge over the river kwai?

  6. I think people living so called "healthy" lifestyles should also be taxed extra and pay more insurance for their hobbys, every year in the west its the same thing insurance companys have to repatriate people from skieng holidays with broken arms and bones and because of this insurance premiums go up and this is costing employers and taxpayers a shitload of money .

  7. Op if youre interested in Thai buddhism theres a documentary called buddhas lost children its about a former muay thai champion turned monk and he takes care of orphans in Chiang Mai he is looked down upon by the buddhist establishment in Bangkok because hes a kind of a rebel theres also a book about him and its one of the best programs i have seen so far about Thailand.

  8. -why is it that people even foreigners support the political reform movement against corruption with money when so called accets are frozen from their great leaders when its a wel known fact that most of the protest leaders and the richest

Familys in Thailand have most of their money parked in offshore tax havens just like thaksin and have been buying up high end property abroad in city's such as London.......In the west we call such things tax dodging.

  9. Yes, sticking ur head in the sand.......a true quality of .....

    That's another reason why.
The smart ass answers you have given so far in this topic doesnt do youre people credit txp 158 as you claim to be Thai.

Try getting youre head out of youre arse for starters .

  10. Asking students to participate in a gift exchange is forcing culture?

That is just a continuation of the western destruction of Thai culture. Yes giving gifts is OK but when you do it only once a year based on a religious holiday that they know nothing about and are not interested in is wrong.

If it is because it is a nice thing to do do it on June 25 when there is no holiday involved.

Some how I think thaat people will not bother with that because it is not Christmas.sad.png

Yes i agree,It is the end of western culture in my home country where there are loads of Thai buddhist tempels,Thai language courses and Thai cooking classes and Thai shops and Thailand clubs having song kran and loy kratong and having a yearly i love Thailand party on a big square in Antwerpen how dear those people who try to convert my country to Thainess....its the end of civilisation as we know it .(sarcasm intended)

You really must be a blast to live with.

  11. I think one problem the Democrats have is that they warn every populist proposal will bankrupt and destroy Thailand yet Thailand seems to do just fine and poor people seem better off after it goes into effect like raising the minimum wage which was so unpopular on Thai Visa.

Thats because many are bitter old gits living on a small fixed income from abroad ,theres a topic running in the news section about the baht taking a plunge the usual suspects are almost having an orgasm judging by the posts made in the west we call these kind of people the ikea pensioners .
  12. I wish my Thai friends would stop wishing me merry christmas. I specifically make sure I am in Thailand for Christmas, because I can't stand the day. I find the concept of Christmas is offensive. I am not a pagan, and so many of the trappings of the holiday; the yule tree, the ornaments, the feasting and the merriment harken back to primitive times. I have no wish to celebrate ancient germanic tribes traditions. I don't understand how any christian would celebrate the birthday of the human form of their deity in a month and on a day when he wasn't even born. Worse yet, the guy was apparently jewish and many people insist on eating a ham on that day. I mean jiminey cricket, eating pork in celebration of a jew's birthday???? I still find it worth a laugh that there used to be a celebration of Jesus' circumcision, until it became politically incorrect to do so and that until modern times there people in search of the holy prepuce with many cathoilic church icons described as such. I can't stand that so many retail outlets in Thailand are playing christmas music. I was just in a big shop in NST and there wasn't a farang in a 5 km radius and yet I had to hear Hark the Herald Angels Sing. I just finished giving grief to my friend who told me he's going to temple on new year's day to make merit and I reminded him that Songkran is in April and he was ohh, but it is your new year and I should come with him and his girlfriend as it will be good for me. bahh.

But yet you like to be around people who still believe in ghosts and spirits and yet you talk about primitive rituals in the west strange..............
  13. The Western media does not understand that the protesters just want to give back power to the people because normally the people is synonymous with the democratic majority and not a small minority.

Very correct. Western media's either utterly clueless or in on it.

Because the west actually doesn't give a toss about Thailand. In my country they showed a 2 min report on the tv news when the protests started and that was it .
