  1. J.M.H.O. The vlogger looks high as a kite, just look at his eyes! Throughout this sad video all he does is repeat profanities over and over again, no need for that. He's so far up his own xxxx he must be able to smell the BS. Saying that, there was no need for the sudden assault to happen, un-called for by any standard. There's so many vloggers in Pattaya etc. trying to get attention and portraying these destinations as the ultimate 'Sin City' of the world to get a few baht from Google! The odd one is worth watching and has good video editing skills to make it watchable. This guy needs to cut the bad language out and learn to be more discreet with his methods of filming. Wot a Plonker Rodney!
  2. Available on most online shopping platforms ... Easy to make anyways! Bread sauce recipe | BBC Good Food I love the stuff! enjoy.
  3. Will never understand some people's lack of sensitivity for others. Why did you post? .... Ahh, now I realise it's all about you!
  4. Ben & Suzie.mp4 I was adopted by a young soi dog about 3 years ago, he was skin and bones. He just turned up in my yard begging for food. Wonderful dog, became my best buddy over the next few weeks. He started to sleep on a mat on the balcony. I got him inoculated and nursed him back to full health. Most people in the soi got to know him and many made a fuss of him, he was so friendly towards people. About 6 months ago he brought a female 'friend' back home one morning, a small terrier type, she was in a terrible state. Cancer of the uterus and other stuff. The vet told me she would certainly die within a few weeks. The lady living opposite took a shine to her and took her in, paid for an op and gave her a home. Sadly both dogs were maliciously killed by poison yesterday morning. I'm totally distraught, gutted and feeling empty, so angry! The sad <deleted>ker who done this has also killed a few more strays, cats and other wildlife lay dead in the soi. All because one or two of his chickens got loose and were killed, presumably by dogs, possibly my Ben. The paddy field behind our soi is littered with dead dogs and birds. More dogs have been reported suffering and dying this morning. The police don't want to know. I feel the pain. Apologies. R.I.P. Ben & Suzie.
  5. I've used Wise for years and only once had a slight problem with wrong coding , about the same time many others had the same problem. Wise then added the 'long term stay in Thailand' added to their drop down list of reasons for transfer. Since then, FTT code has always been the norm. UK bank to Bangkok bank. On Saturday I done a large transfer of £10,000. Wise informed me it wouldn't arrive until 10am Tuesday (today). It arrived at 7am. Went to the bank to sort some things out and update my book, it showed as a SMT code! Makes no difference to me but Wise are not as reliable as they once were. IMHO.
  6. IMO you assume wrong! It's people with more money than sense (or just pure laziness) that don't keep track of the cost of living. I get great self-satisfaction in preparing good, clean and fresh food for my family most days and occasionally for friends whether it be Asian or western cuisine. I do the shopping and enjoy it. I frequent all the supermarkets, Makro and the local markets. Lots to see!???????? Makro pork or cumberland sausages used to be ฿199 Now ฿210 Chicken breast always about ฿45 - ฿50 Now ฿70+ Pork mince about ฿100 Now ฿140+ Most root veg up 50% carrots / mooli / potatoes Many brassicas up 100% broccoli / cauliflowers / cabbage Morning glory, krapowe and most herbs come from the herb garden! Salad items are very seasonal but this year they have increased drastically, especially all tomato varieties. Western tinned foods etc. have gone up marginally. H.P sauce, baked beans and various condiments. I find McV digestives are great value at present. Maybe we should start a 'savvy shopper' thread! Merry Christmas everyone ????
  7. But not everything was perfect in Taiwan either, with Facebook user Joseph Nickalo saying: “I was surprised by how many businesses turn down a person simply because they don't want a foreigner. I guess they think we are too much trouble. I think that's illegal in the US so I just wasn't expecting it, but I get it I guess.” You ain't in Texas now buddy!

  9. Wow .... Judging by some of the replies, I can't believe how many people urgently need a 'humour pill'! Probably can sit next to the 'chill pill'. ???? Relax ... Take a deep breath ... It won't take long!
  10. No need to go a Land Transport Office if you don't want to. Just go to any garage displaying this sign with your 'green book' and they'll do it for you (for a minimal fee), normally within 24 hrs. They go to the L.T.O. on your behalf. My local garage charges 50 baht extra. Go in the morning and pay. Pick up the tax sticker, Gov. insurance and 'green book' at 4pm the same day. Done and dusted.
  11. SAAG EM-3086F ลำโพงBluetooth 2.1 ต่อยาวเป็นSound bar ได้ กำลังขับ 49W Multimedia Speaker System ลำโพงพร้อมซับวูฟเฟอร์ | Lazada.co.th I like this brand. Can be used as a sound bar or split. decent sound quality and power for well under 2k. Worth checking out.
  12. Well DrJ, for someone who posts a lot on immigration issues I thought you would know better. A TM6 is important for extending your permit to stay or in changing your visa status in Thailand. I've never encountered any other use for it. Just saying. Have a great day!
  13. Your not alone ...... I've got the same problem, so has my neighbour and also some others who got vaccinated in our town! I checked with the local provincial health authority who checked my details. Still no different.
  14. Definitely! She is 'addicted to (self) love'. I wonder if she plays the guitar?
  15. Glyphosate | US EPA According to this info: Harmless if used in the correct application. Most commonly known is 'Roundup'. I've actually learned something this morning!
  16. I always, without fail wash all my fruit and vegetables before use: To clean most fruits and vegetables, mix a solution of 1 cup vinegar to 4 cups water inside a spray bottle, then add a tablespoon of lemon juice. Shake well to combine. Spray your produce and leave for a few minutes then wash off. Use a vegetable scrubber on produce with hard or coarse skin. Of course, what pesticides have been soaked up from the ground into the produce is another matter!
  17. Wise does use the SWIFT network for sending money to South Africa, Japan, and US dollars to countries around the world. But Wise works to reduce those costly intermediary fees. And makes it clear when there may be fees to you. Upfront.Apr 27, 2561 BE
  18. Key Visa can take away all the hassle of renewing your British passport in Thailand for a service fee of just 5000 baht (this is in addition to your passport renewal fee) which includes document checking, photocopies, taking the application to Bangkok and collecting the new British passport when it is ready. Key Visa: ''Even if you live away from Pattaya then we can still help, just send your documents to us via EMS and make the payment into our bank account. When your new passport is ready we will send it to you via EMS for just an additional 100 baht.'' Basically you have still got to fill in all the documents yourself etc. not just supply the info. They don't do all the work for you, just check that you have done them correctly. They do all the leg work. It would cost me more than that in flights to and from Bangkok so I would consider it an affordable and valuable service!
  19. 1st of Pfizer was on the 3rd of this month (Sept) with the 2nd due on Friday 24th (Sept). All free. A big thank you to the U.S.A. donation and my local provincial health office. ????
  20. As I've mentioned in other topics regarding the same; go to your local health centre or the Provincial Health Dept if in or near the provincial capital city. I'm up in the boonies and got my 1st Pfizer jab and 3 week follow up Pfizer jab appointment last week, simply by going to my health dept. office and asking them. I am over 60 but there were a couple of young guys in the queue waiting for a Pfizer jab attained by using the expatvac website. Worth a shot and only costs a little time, perseverance and patience. Good luck.
  21. Update from post: Expatvac replies... - Page 2 - Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits - ASEAN NOW Heard nothing! Yesterday a friend forwarded me an email received from the provincial health office for Pfizer jab this morning. I went but was told I'm not on the list so ............ I went to the office (5 mins away) and explained the situation. They checked that the vaccination building had spare Pfizer, took my details and told me to return to the vaccination building and all will be good! Within 30 mins I was vaccinated with Pfizer and given a follow up appointment for another Pfizer jab in 3 weeks! For what it's worth, maybe a visit to your local health office can speed the process up and be more fruitful and informative. It only costs a little time and patience. Good Luck.
