I've heard that when you eat a snake it tastes like chicken, now I know why.
I tried it in Malaysia many years ago. I tasted like a less geasy duck and, according to my chinese friends was supposed to give me a better erection.

Can someone please tell me which country does NOT require vehicle registration to be carried when the vehicle is in use?
The Uk alows you 5 days to produce the documents at a designated Police Station. Even this is obsolescent since all details are held on the DVLA computer to which Police have unlimited access

I wonder how much of the confiscated funds will end up in government coffers and not in private pockets.

I'm always amused when the motocy (or car) actually stops, looks, sees there's a car approaching, and then pulls out in front of it!

I bought a small item from Amazon back in february. A month later they helped themselved to £79 from my bank acount for something called Amazon Prime. It is a video express sevice which I had never heard of and would never use. Somewhere I failed to uncheck a box. Be very carefull to read all the small print in any amazon contract.

Taxis are more expensive than Bangkok, but they do use the meter. Drivers are severly chastised if caught trying to fleece a customer.

I have flown Emirates several times. their fares are good value considering that they do fly to airports considered by other carriers to be out of the way. I have always checked in on line as soon as the check in is open, BUT on opening the check in I find that 2/3 of the seeats are already spoken for. WHY ?

This is a non-event, part of a pilots training, and it is included in the optional events tested in any check on a simulator.

Until China turns against PDRK, nothing can be done. PDRK is a useful buffer between China and (as China sees it) American puppet South Korea. Even so, Kim Jong un may provoke even China to turn its back on him and then there will be a very bloody, but probably very short, conflict.

If you are British and havnt paid in enough contributions, dont worry you will recieve income support instead, still not much but not much difference betwen that and a pension, you will also get housing beneifit ect, so try not to worry.
If you are not resident in the UK you are not eligible for income support nor for any other benefit.

The fastest train that I can find takes 2 hours from Bangkok to Chiangmai. Reducing this by 3 hours still leaves 9 hours
The slowest UK equivalent, London to Edinburgh, takes a maximum of just under 6 hours

I'm somewhat confused. they state that this exercise is to be able to trace all foreigners living in Thailand. We automatically tend to equate that with farangs and other expats living here whether they be retirees or working. What about the millions of Burmese and Cambodians living and working here? I have no idea what the percentage of mobile phone ownership is by them but I should imagine that it's quite high. Would the Thai authorities have the technology to be able to track millions of mobiles, not just a few hundred thousand owned by farangs and the like.
Near to my wife's family hame in Chiangmai is a big barracklike block housing approx 50 Burmese. The all share about 5 phones. So how could they track any individual ?

How does this square with the threats made to the jobs of thousands of Puyaiban and other local officials should the turnout and/or result not be to the liking of the junta?

Will they be sold at a special (inflated) price ? What are they afraid of ?

I have just bought a an Epson Expression XP-235 all-in-one printer and cannot get it to connect wirelessly with my laptop. I have tried it from the disc supplied, then uninstalled that and tried using drivers downloaded from the Epson support site. I have successfully connected it via USB cable and then tried to change the connection method. Nothing has worked. Can any expert advise me ?

I am not sure if it is what you want, but there is a weed suppressant fabric which allows water to drain through. Try searching the plants market

Separate licences, Does that mean an extra fee for each? I have UK licences for motorbikes . cars, commercial vehicle up to 7.5t and (do not laugh) powered lawnmmowers. Would I have to obtain separate licences for each?
