And IMHO one of the best features of the MS solution is that it just works. No annoying messages, no annoying questions. Nothing. It just works.
And for the record: I would personally pay for other solutions if they would be better. I don't have to do that.
25 years in IT, agree with the above sentiment. Windows Security is better than the paid ones.
waste of money, regardless of price.. wouldn't even use them if they were free and is always the first thing I uninstall if it comes on a device

I never tried those things but I would be interested to know if they are any use for riding with a helmet on a scooter.
I have some wireless earbuds (cheap ones) that I am pretty sure would fall off when taking the helmet off or even while riding
even on the back of one, if you get the chance to try and see if you can hear anything but wind.

I reckon it would be a description in first field, "timesync" whatever you want
123-123
trigger protocol all
123-123
then enable
then apply

Only tax payers should get it for free they say , i feel sure most of the workers in, (or were in) , Pattaya dont pay any tax .. my Thai wife works earns in excess orf 12,000b per month she has never paid tax
12k made in Thailand, 0 taxes, free vaccine
vs
50k-100k+ brought into Thailand, 0 taxes, they force you to take it and you pay.
makes about as much sense as rising the price of rentals when no one is renting

gps can be turned off on most devices, some might not but they would be quite <deleted>.
if you press that button, gps is off. they can still mess around with finding whereabouts even with GPS off tho
If the government wants and has access to enough devices, they could track your whereabouts just by you having WIFI on because it constantly scans for routers and your physical address of your phone never changes
so when you get this "free wifi" at airport and you need to provide IDs, they get your MAC address on that device and can pair it to your name and it can certainly be tracked that way
if you drove/walked by my place, my router can intercept this phone scanning for wifi and "IF I knew which MAC address you are (by having databases from airports, etc) then i can know you came by
then you can extrapolate that to ISPs might be logging all this stuff and you could in theory be tracked very closely, how long you stayed X and Y, at what times and can tell where you went after by having other devices catch you
this stuff is already in place, there are a minimum of 7 routers picking up my phone right now

back in late 2017 I got my friend to sell her little 1 baht of gold to get Bitcoin. If i recall correctly it was just a bit under 20,000 THB and was worth 0.1 BTC
I promised her that if it went down i'd rebuy it at the same price.. she panicked when it went down and asked me to refund the money, so I did.
that same 0.1 BTC is 171,857 THB now, she cries about it to me once in a while but hey!
I feel like the old timers on here don't understand it that's why they diss it.. but Bitcoin is up 54% since this post has been made last month, I'm not even interested enough to google how much gold has appreciated.

pardon me if i'm wrong but does this have something to do with what Bill Gates was making drama about?
he had a pictures of a big old mess of cables that were used from Telco (TV cable, fiber, etc) mess and acted like it was a mess of electric cables?
the third picture has the mess that I am talking about but his pictures were 10x worse..
those are not electric cables.. the electric cables are way higher. so they are burying electrical cables now? great..
ok so maybe some idiots mixed electric cables in the telco messes (wouldn't surprise me) but it will not fix those nests of cables that is the result of 3BB, True and everyone else that are running cables everywhere every time they have new customers

late reply but last time i was in bangkok they had minivans from sai tai mai, mochit (across the street) and ekkamai, 180 baht.

it's likely that wake on lan packet
you can check the BIOS or go in the properties for your network card, I did it a long time ago but i reckon it was something like this
just put them all on disabled. my 3BB (or maybe it was True) router kept spamming it to my computer a few years back and turning it on

None of these girls and most in these contests do nothing for me.
I prefer them shorter, small about 42 kilos natural and cute.
"Beautiful" could care less.
exactly, i'm always saying the most stunning woman i saw here at first was a girl selling some stuff beachside, was dark as heck and already taken
motorbike taxi guy i asked about said she was "disgusting" .. no competition is fine with me ????

after seeing the motorbike driving license process/test, I would reckon that it doesn't make a difference if they have the license or not.
driving on the highways without a helmet is illegal, so is driving without a license.
a young lady cut me off with her scooter once, and took me and my girlfriend off my big bike.. she was on the highway, no helmet, no license, no insurance, didn't use signal light before turning, did not look in mirror or behind and she was absolutely 100% at fault
just her having no license or helmet should put her at fault, because she shouldn't have been there in the first place for like 15 other reasons
blame fell on me because she was a poor girl, they took my bike away made me sign a paper saying it was my fault (in Thai)
i had to pay to fix her bike, give her money cause she got knocked out (no helmet) and fix mine.
did she learn anything?
no, but I did.
if you ask me, they should enforce the license and helmet with penalties that go up
1st
warning, written up.
fine 100 baht
fine 250 baht
fine 500 baht
fine 1000 baht
and keep going.
cannot pay? take the bike away .. not paid within 1 or 2 months? sell the bike at auctions for dirt cheap and give them the change after fees

I am not 100% sure what is going on but in the last few days the connection seem to be quite slow
of course when you do a speedtest it connects to a location 50km away from you and you get your full package (1000/300 in my case) because it's the connection to that server WITHIN Thailand..
these test means absolutely nothing as the internet is not only in Thailand
i actually came on here to see if someone else was having issues and.. this confirms i'm not alone.
somethings up.

well it might be a bit late but ekkamai bus station has them.. just be warned that they are few and they take forever (4 hours or more usually)
other options are sai tai mai and mochit but yeah BTS is about 2.x km from there, they have a bunch of motorbike taxis which I believe its 60 baht to get to the mochit bus station.
they don't seem to have vans at mochit anymore, you need to cross the using the overhead walking thing and walk like 100 meters south (right, coming out of it)
sai tai mai has nothing in the main building (but it's way out of the way if you want central BKK) however they have vans running from 6am on all day towards hua hin (and cha-am obv)

I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this as they have xbox series s in stock https://www.play-asia.com/xbox-series-s/13/70dpwz which is 13,000 baht including shipping, so not too outrageous a price.
Anyone used these guys before? How long is their delivery times to get here? Would it get held up in customs and what would be the likely custom charge for this? I'm not sure if I will actually buy it from here as I would prefer the series x (which they do not have in stock), but have a weakness for shiny new toys so may not be able to help myself.
bit late but play-asia is legit.
not sure about taxes because it depends which somchai you get
sometimes its nothing, most times its outrageous.. ymmv.
I was tempted by a Series X from expansys but they had the price at 18500 and they had 2, i didn't buy and now its over 26500
I don't like to participate in their super scalping.. i don't need a series X that much, i have a much better computer and literally thousands of games to play
would have bought it closer to retail price tho just because i have xbox gamepass ultimate already

Bitcoins are just strings of text which are stored in exchanges or digital wallets, neither of which need power to maintain these bitcoin hashes. The exchanges, where you trade bitcoin with others, would be down, but since no one else can get online either during this hypothetical global outage, the value would not rise nor fall. In fact, you can write down your digital wallet address on a piece of paper and lock it up in a safe. Your bitcoin is as safe as your safe.
However, if there were a global power failure, you've got WAY bigger problems than losing your bitcoin. You'd be better off by stocking supplies, including guns and ammo, and hopefully you will already know how to farm, collect water, and survive by yourself. You won't be able to lookup "how-to" tips anymore if the internet is down.
not sure what writing a wallet address would do, you can't recover anything with this and they are public
you must have meant writing down your private keys and/or seed phrase

Bumping this post.
Does anyone know with the latest Core i7 or Core i9 processors if the processor is the bottleneck at 100Mbs internet speed, or these processors can easily handle 100Mbs internet speed, thus making the internet speed of 100Mbs speed the bottleneck.
has nothing to do with processors but your network card.
unless you got a gigabit network interface controller/card then you are likely to get 100mpbs
haven't read the whole thread so not sure what you have but you can look it up (motherboard for PC, model number for prebuilt)
you can get something like this if you only got 100mbps and want more

ethernet/fiber connection and cell data is unrelated usually unless they would have MAJOR issues
never seen both go down at the same time

I have the Xiaomi one and used it twice so far, once to blow up an big inner tube for the beach and once to sort an issue with deflated motorbike tire..
It works but it's not exactly strong and it takes a long time.. i don't know if it would work for a car tyre to be honest but i wouldn't get it for that.
for pumping tyres on bicycles, motorbikes, balls and whatnot, absolutely works.

reset only deletes and reinstall windows, if you are worried about any data they could recover (and they technically could) then you would have to use something else to wipe it.

I am 190 cm ( 6'4") and i have an Aerox non abs, amongst others, and she is a little ripper and i don't have any problems with room on the bike.
Test ride one or rent one for a day or two and get a feel for it before you decide.
the same, I was told by people that the Aerox would be "way too small" for tall people but I had one for a long time and had no issues, i hit my knee on the side box once or twice but it was my fault
but I'm sure that if it was true for them then it was their weight that was the issue as they might have slid forward more or have chunky legs.
Aerox is a wonderful choice.
btw, I'm 6'3" at 191cm so your conversion is a bit off. (193cm is 6"4)

I have been told that a lot more people than you'd think can't read English letters (like I can't read Thai) which explains the issues with local mail/package delivery they always call to ask me the exact information that is on the package.
when I show the GPS on my phone, the addresses are in English language.. most times they can't read it and ask me to search on theirs which show all the things in Thai
A week ago on the 4th (holiday), I went from Ikea Bang Na to Samyan Mitrtown with a taxi, he had a big tablet right in front of his meter, 22km and a free toll road later (because of holiday) ended up over 320 baht (had never seen anything over 250 before)
Two days ago, same trip, more traffic and no toll road.. was charged 145
sometimes I feel like reporting those who F with the meters but for that i'd have to take a picture of their number/meter/license and I'm sure they would get hostile quick.
It's like being buried alive...

depending on your age and how you look, this should be easy enough to achieve.
I'm 38, tall and slim dude maybe a little better than average looking and I could get 20 years old girls (if I bothered trying), actually have one living with across the room from me right now. (which is the reason I don't even try)
few years back I went to get a vasectomy for free from the clinic in Bangkok (next to cabbage and condoms restaurant), I already have a son back home who just turned 20 and didn't want to have more responsibilities so.. cut.
note that it's not a way to have sex without protection (but it can be if you both get tested, I guess), i still use condoms but the "i was taking the pill" or whatever tricks they use nowadays simply will not work and I can't be convinced either.
in the last few years I been asked to make kids no strings attached by like 5 different women, one of them tried to "trick" me into it but I didn't give in and less than a year later she had a baby (either she was already pregnant and looking to pin, or trying to get a baby from ANYONE)
anyways, I'm not a guy that goes looking for multiple women, i'm fairly happy with one but relatively picky which is why i don't consider that girl that lives here to be my gf, just a roommate with rare benefits (she has her own room) but it also prevents me from meeting other women cause she is around... so it's a double edged sword.
but really, if you are unhappy.. you should leave. it's that simple
