  1. It has nothing to do with you and certainly shouldn't pay a single dime.  Don't listen to anyone and if they ask you to pay anything tell them to piss off.  If anyone has to pay anything it's the people conducting the act and I would think definitely the male as he is an adult having sex with a minor.  I'm surprised nobody is pressing charges against him.

PS... just showed my wife, she just laughed and said anyone who asks you for money is just trying to rip you off. If your wife has any problems she should go to the police.  The male is responsible to paying all costs and compensation.

Yes, as they are so petty about the weight of bags / luggage you can take, but a huge fat person that weighs 4 times as much as me can pay the same price?!  Price should go on weigh..... because more weight uses more fuel.

I have said for years that airlines should do something similar.  Every seat should be assigned a weight, which is a combined body weight and luggage.  When you check in at the desk the floor area should be a large scale.  Weight yourself and your baggage together. I remember having an argument with an airline in Europe a few years back.  My partner who is 45kg was 2 kg over in her luggage (27kg).  They wanted us to pay extra.  Meanwhile the guy in front of us was at least 120kg, but could take the same luggage weight on the plane.  Now if it was a combined weight and luggage (25kg was the limit on luggage) she would have been taking at least 73kg combined weight less on the plane that the fat prick.  He should have been the one to pay more. They didn't make us pay the extra

  3. Trying to find a reason for the corruption ranking :clap2: One only has to look out their front door to see it going on.  There is your reason right there.  The problem is when you are so use to something, you become blinded by it and therefore over a long period of time, see it as normal.

  4. Could be a case of pushing foreign instructors out to make way for Thai instructors.  I have dived a lot around Thailand and some of the Thai instructors are actually quite good.  As for holding passports.  Rule number 1 is never ever give anyone your passport.  From my understanding and what I was told by the Australian Embassy, it is also illegal for anyone to keep your passport.  Your passport does not belong to you, it belongs and remains the property of the Government of your country.  Should anyone take your passport, apply for a new one.  At least that is what I was told from Embassy staff.  Now I have 2 as I have duel citizenship....always good to have a backup.

The authorities could try to force motorcycle rental agencies to display a sign in different languages warning renters to check their insurance before renting. If nothing else, the BiB would get a little extra tea money from enforcing the law.....

They should also be asking for a motorbike licence, but they don't.  People think they can just use their car license, but sorry a car and motorbike are totally different.

  6. I see at least a dozen people running red light every morning taking my daughter to school.  I also had a car run a red light on Tuesday afternoon when picking her up.  That occurred right in front of police and nearly crashing into a motorbike.  When I hit the horn, not only to let the driver know but also to warn other people, the police officer looked at me like I was the one doing the wrong thing.  Sorry Mr officer, but if you were doing your job instead of standing there pulling your dick like the useless prick you are, you could have stopped him.  Nothing will ever change until the people responsible for enforcing road rules actually do that.  In the mean time, try to stay as safe as you can, keep your eyes and ears open and trust nobody on the roads.

  7. Rather than warning people not to wear gold chains and other jewellery, send out a warning to these scum thieves that if caught you will have your hands cut off.  People should be able to wear what the hell they want without some gutter trash stealing from them.  Can tolerate a lot of things but thrives I cannot.  Cut the <deleted>$%kers hands off, if the police won't, then do it yourself.  I cut a pricks thumb off once for stealing my phone, bet he never stole again.

    Same Edward Woodward?

SURAT THANI — Police say a 64-year-old Australian man was injured in an assassination attempt in Surat Thani province today.

The victim, who has been identified as Edward Woodward, was driving in Surat Thani's city center when he was shot at by an unknown number of gunmen on a motorcycle, according to police. The motorcycle then sped away from the scene.

Police say Woodward was shot in both arms and is receiving medical attention.

According to police, the shooting took place shortly after Woodward left his residence in Mueang district.

    The incident is under investigation.

If this is in-fact the same guy, it sounds like this situation is getting real.  For the TVF sluths, who do you think would have done this, the property owner in revenge? The family or friends of the girlfriend to shut him up?

  9. He is not the victim.  He would have been if he hadn't set fire and damaged someone else property.  The victim here is the person who owns the house he was renting (What did they do?).  One thoughtless act could well see him charged and jailed for arson.  If it was one of my properties he would definitely be paying for damage  one way or another.  Not hard to find out who stole his money.  To steal that much here you either need to be going to the ATM on a regular basis or go into a branch.  Cameras at ATM machines, cameras in the bank, ID needed to take money out of the bank if in a branch etc etc.  There will be a money trail.

  10. Going back 7 years ago when I bought my first bike in Thailand, I talked to many Thai about the best brand of bike here.  The only reason for asking was due to different countries having different quality products.  What good in one country might not be so good in another.  At that time, almost everyone said buy Honda.  Many believe that Honda is a better quality bike.  I quite like both the R1 and the CBR etc and absolutely miss my Harley, but happy to cruise around on my PCX around Patong.  It's like like we can really open them up here.  If I lived in Isaan I would definitely be buying something bigger, 600cc up.

going the way of marriage visa to oz only took 3 mt when i did it ,was differently the easy way to go.

Friend of mine just did it to get married in OZ, took him 11 months.  I guess the time depends on many factors.  However, the actual visa spouse/marriage is the same visa and same application regardless of whether you marry here or in OZ.  The same can be said for registering your marriage here in Thailand.  At least it was for me.

it is a lot easier to marry her in oz as far as visas go ie no proof of relationship .just apply for a marriage visa ,police check, med check for her and son ( even if son not coming to oz).gives her 9 mts in oz . the Australian marriage certificate is recognized in Thailand.

You still need to fill out the paper work for it to be approved and recognised in Thailand.  I looked into it before marrying.  Better to marry in Thai and then Australia recognises that without any further work.  As for spouse/marriage visa for Australia it can take between 8 months and 18 months to be approved.  If they knock it back you do not get any refund what so ever.

If she gave up her Thai citizenship to be an Australian citizen then she would lose her rights In Thailand as well as buying land.

She would need dual passports to retain both countries of residence.

There is no need to give up her Thai citizenship when she marries someone from Australia or the UK and would be crazy to do so.  I am both an Australian and UK citizen.  My daughter has both Thai and Australian (she could of had Thai and UK if she wanted) and my wife is in the middle of getting her Australian which will give her both as well (she also could have gone the other way and got her UK citizenship).  You would be crazy to give up the citizenship of your birth country.

  14. Mrs Kobkarn told the Bangkok Post the visa incentive had helped to boost tourist arrivals in December and that between January 1st to 20th, 1.8 million international tourists arrived in Thailand, which is a 6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

That's strange because nearly all business owners I have spoke to over the last week have said business is down about 30% on this time last year.
