lol. If you think it's the same , then why doesn't natural MSG like tomatoes taste the same as artificial MSG? There are many studies done on toxicity of artificial MSG, this is just one. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5938543/ Quote: MSG has been associated with various forms of toxicity (Figure 1(Fig. 1)). MSG has been linked with obesity, metabolic disorders, Chinese Restaurant Syndrome, neurotoxic effects and detrimental effects on the reproductive organs. Results from both animal and human studies have demonstrated that administration of even the lowest dose of MSG has toxic effects.

If you want to cook yourself a quick simple meal, simple ingredients like salt & sugar, fresh vegetables, noodles should be enough. There are some Thai chili paste that don't have MSG, you have to search for it. If you are too lazy to cook, and if you want a tasty meal, just eat at Thai food stalls. It's not expensive at 40 baht per plate and you can ask them not to put whatever you don't want. It's not like in western countries where dining out is an expensive affair.

On the contrary, your post is disinformation. I don't read articles that are paid by the big companies producing MSG for profits. I only know that taking artificial MSG gives me headaches whereas if I eat tomatoes (natural MSG), there is no side effects at all. I do eat tomatoes almost everyday. Anyway, this is a thread on noodles and not benefits of MSG, so I won't argue anymore on this. If you think MSG is good for you, then go ahead and consume lots of it. It's your body and not mine.

In case you don't know, Ajinomoto is the company producing artificial MSG which is a neurotoxin.

That's where you have been tricked by the MSG producers . Artificial MSG (Ajinomoto) is not the same as natural MSG in tomatoes. They do not taste the same too. If you want MSG taste, then why not just eat tomatoes? Nowadays, they even hide the word MSG in various other terms like permitted flavoring. Is artificial leather the same as natural leather? Is artificial rubber the same as natural rubber? I can give many other examples. It's all a word-play to fool the ignorant masses.

There are fresh yellow and egg noodles in Makro which is healthier than those deep fried Mama noodles. They are easier and faster to cook than spaghetti because they are fresh and wet (not dried). All instant noodles have low nutritional values and full of MSG. The downside of these fresh noodles is that they must be eaten within a few days or at most a week like fresh vegetables before it goes rotten.

Another Boeing 737....dived down , now in China
EricTh replied to david555's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
Shouldn't the Boeing protects itself automatically , a sort of built-in mechanism? Is this a terrorist attack? -
That's the problem with buying online. You never know when it would be defective or whether it's what you want. It's better to buy from physical shops if you can find the same item.

A lot of these sausages have additives, preservatives, sugar, MSG on it that is harmful in the long run. It's delicious but not healthy. That's why I always choose unprocessed fresh food.

Most barber shops charge 100 baht just for hair cut. More money if you want shampoo as well.

Dates for Retirement Funds i.e. 800k/400k
EricTh replied to foreverlomsak's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is 2 months before the date that you got your approval and 3 months after. The officer wants to see your 2 months 800k bank statement on the date that you applied which can be 45 days before expiry date. -
This goes to show that nobody knows what is going on until we try to board the plane which would be too late.

Getting the Insurance Issue Straight...
EricTh replied to D M G's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you don't trust the answers here, it's better to go to immigration office and ask yourself -
Would you still want to visit Thailand with these new entry rules?
EricTh replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There is still the expensive Covid insurance that we must buy. Getting rid of the insurance and the PCR test and replace with just a cheaper antigen test and minimum amount of cash that we must bring would be much better. -
I haven't bought any tickets yet, just looking at various options and various transit/stopover points. I am not sure whether they issue one ticket for two different airlines or two tickets for two different airlines for connecting flights. If there is no PCR test (done within 72 hours requirement), life would be much simpler. Anyway, I think it's better to ask the airport staff because different people give different answers here. Thanks anyway.

It is a flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok first, then from Bangkok to another country using a different airline. Is that considered a transit?
