Take a second test for those already registered? Well that will go well with them and need to come back 1 week later for another test. ????

With the removal of Test and Go, don't hope for any huge number of real tourists from any countries coming in. Applying for Thailand Pass is already a headache, now you have to undergo xx days of quarantine in an expensive hotel will just put people off.

Is this for real? Even if we don't know how to read the Thai numerals, we are still able to pronounce the words si sip. Nothing difficult about that. I am surprised she let you in. Recently , there is a new ticket staff who is loud-mouthed and crude. I doubt you will be able to get pass her with Thai price.

Countries should live with the virus, any lockdowns or border closing didn't help in the last two years bcos the virus still spreads. Most of us are already vaccinated, if we do catch it , we won't be hospitalised. Netherlands is having a lockdown now, France is closing its borders. All these measures don't really help in curbing the virus as seen in the last 2 years.

The tourists are afraid that if they were to come to Thailand, they will be stuck in Thailand again should their home country initiate another lockdown and/or 14 days quarantine to return back home.

Pad Thai is the so-called national dish but it originated from China brought in by Thai citizens of Chinese ancestry in the 19th century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pad_thai You need to take a trip around SEA like Malaysia and Singapore and see similar dishes there. Pad means stir-fried and not noodles. KFC chicken originated from America, even if the Thai modify it to be a little spicy , it's still an American dish. Same with Pad Thai.

Pad Thai originates from a Chinese dish ironically. You can find similar dishes in Malaysia and Singapore.

I don't know why people always think that Khao Soi is northern Thai food. It actually is a Yunnan Chinese food brought into Thailand via Myanmar. Thai people eat rice and not noodles. Noodles are brought in by Chinese immigrants to Thailand.

Just get rid of the ridiculous 1 day quarantine and Covid test then this problem will be solved.

Then please get rid of the 1 day quarantine and also Covid test when entering Thailand. It's not necessary when there is already a 50K health insurance requirement
