There's some arguments to be made for legalizing everything... The main argument is that the war on drugs doesn't work and just makes everything worse.

Sure, crack and heroin ruins so many lives.. but if they were legal at least we could spend the money on harm reduction instead of law enforcement.. the law enforcement seems to have no effect and is just a huge black hole of wasted money and resources.

In Portugal small amounts of heroin and crack etc are allowed and this has for some reason been successful in terms of all types of statistics. Use is down. Overdose deaths are down. Crime is down. HIV is down.

In my opinion I think the traffic police is responsible for a large portion of the 22000 dead and 1 million injured every year.

It could be argued in court that their failure to do their duty is in fact treason which is punishable by death in Thailand.

They should implement a reward system for turning in all traffic violators Nationwide. 

There should be a app and a website where you can submit your dashcam/GoPro footage of violations and your bank account and then there should be a huge team of people verifying and sending out the fines and rewards. 

The verification process would pay for itself. There would be billions in fines every day. 

Unpaid fines means no insurance and/or impounding of vehicle.

Lets go.

You make two faulty assumptions.

1. Legalization increases use. False. People smoke weed all the time, doesn't matter if it's legal or not. It's available everywhere already.

2. Stoners drive bad. False. They actually drive more careful in general, this offsets the few that doesn't. Look at Colorado or other states in the us where it has been legalized and the number of accidents didn't go up.

Nothing is 100% safe. I'm just worried about the situation here with usually zero accountability, vast corruption. I'm sure it's even worse in other countries but I live in Thailand now and I'm worried about the food here. I'm not trying to compare with other countries.
