I was at the iStudio today, just to kiiiiinda take a look at the 6s. Spoke to the owner whom I reserved the "unlocked" 6s 128gb with. He said that I may actually already get it next week....depending on the quota ( no idea what that quota is or how it is calculated ). He also said that most of the sales are for the 64gb Pink Rose Gold.

Its anywhere between 500 and 1200...depending on what needs to be done etc.

Really?! They are unlocked? What is the point of releasing it only for True / DTAC? I remember the iStudio guy saying that I have to sign up for True or dtac, but after 2 or 3 months can cancel the "contract". Wasn't quite sure what that meant or how it worked, so I just assumed it would be locked on their carrier. The guys english wasn't too good.

I had a back problem and doing my own google investigation, it turns out that it is not a big issue and an easy fix for a chiropractor. I remembered this thread about a local Chiropractor that spoke english. However, I found his office location was fairly vaguely pinpointed here. I did manage to find him though after a couple of U-turns and walking up to an office hoping it was the correct building

I spoke with Dr. Den ( his English is ok ). He gave a brief history of his schooling / experience. He combines traditional Thai Massage with Chiropractic.

He cracked a few spots of my back...while getting ready to crack the back, I just remember thinking "Sh*t, this is going to hurt"...but it didn't. Actually felt pretty good. I had a approximately 15 minute session and my back is fine again. What really shocked me though, which I've never experienced before, he cracked my ears...I am still confused by how he did it.

With the dollar being so "strong"...any word on the official prices of the new iphones?

While I can't help with the actual button, but....did you search the App Store for a "get me home" app? Just did a search and there was a lite version of an app that possibly is just what you are looking for.

Well, just completed my border run. I stopped by the new immigration, and they seem to be partially operational...there were cars parked outside and I saw a female immigration officer walking around.

On the way back from the border I went to the "old" immigration in Phibun which was full of Asians ( assuming Laotians ). So that one is still in operation. There were a few notes posted on the door ( in Thai ), maybe one of them mentions the move? See attached picture.

I cant gove you a definite answer on that, but would assume it depends on the current mood of the immigration officer you're dealing with.

But, you can probably avoid that by being "smart". Open a second bank account under your name and when it is time to season your money, just transfer 400k from one bank account to the other.

Technically it shouldn't give you problems, but being in Thailand, I guess it just depends on which immigration officer you get.

When my dad came to Thailand he opened up a bank account with 400k, solely for visa purposes. He also had a seperate account for his day to day spending.

He never touched the 400k account, until needed for visa renewal. When immigration saw that he didn't use any of the money and received interest, they wanted to know what money he was living on and requested to see his "everyday" account and where the money comes from.

While I can't give you information on your question ( sorry ), just wanted to give some "support".

You are on a good path and "idea" and it seems as you have the energy to do it. There are enough people that would want to do a tour in isaan. I for one would've loved to do it before actually moving here, but didn't know of a guide.

I also get a few customers who travel different cities of isaan on seperate occasions and may enjoy a guide.

And what s/he filled out really is...hmmm...an insult. The op mentioned that English was a requirement. Why did s/he waste his/her time to fill out the application and wasted the op's time by having to read through that ( while it was entertaining, I'm sure the LB didn't mean to be entertaining ).

While it may be true that a LB has to go through "trauma" because of their "orientation", does not mean they should be treated as a different person. I am sure that the op would've posted this online if it were a real male or female. The fact that s/he is a LB has nothing to do with the application itself. But from the op's point of view ( so I assume ), did she not only miserably fail the application, but also failed the visual.

Why get so upset? The Applicant was at no time identified, except being a 25yo LB.
