Very strange! The crime was committed in Khon Kaen. The investigation has been conducted throughout by Khon Kaen police, and yet the alleged perpetrators are taken to Bangkok to be questioned by the head honcho of Bangkok! Perhaps the Bangkok police couldn't accept that a "rural" division of the RTP had conducted a successful operation!

Not that.
The BKK RTP just wanted to meet the girls and get their mugs on the tv.
Took them to BKK in a helicopter for god's sake. Those girls would have thought they were rock stars! -

Idiotic, it's bad enough now with the Chinese at DM, imagine the 'queues' for insurance machines, folks with no baht, arguing, kids crying, machines breaking down, laughable.
'The requirement is seen as helping to reduce the burden on Thai hospitals who are being forced to treat an increasing number of insured foreigners.'
No problem then according to the article if foreigners are insured why is it costing Hospitals?
Can't see that it's idiotic.
What is idiotic is coming to Thailand as a tourist without travel insurance.- 59

So the cop let him go. "Don't worry officer, I'll do it tomorrow. Oh, and I'll get those bald tyres renewed tomorrow also".
-
September is a significant month. They'll be trying hard not to find him before that.

Of course the guy did the wrong thing, but one can imagine the recipient of the neck massage might well have deserved at least that.

Funny how people seem to put so much value on the life of a Thai cop between vehemently accusing them of incompetence.
He killed a human being. No matter what the occupation. Then he ran away and has been running ever since.
People like him cannot command respect.
The Thai authorities also cannot command respect because they don't have the intestinal fortitude to nail him.
Pathetic. -
But why would anyone care who he is if there is nothing on his passport to show him of being of interest.
Maybe because it is their job?
Which passport would that be? His Thai passport is reported to have been revoked. -
Thank you Khaosod for writing the story. The country needs constant reminders of the justice (?) system's continual efforts to 'forget' this case.

What an idiot and putting other lives at risk! Send the driver to prison for a year and we'll see these tragic accidents stop or maybe most of them. Stupid Thai's!
Other lives at risk! Only Cambodians so nothing to worry about . . . -
Look at the mammeries on that.. I would bang her sideways.

No you wouldn't, she'd prolly rather cut your d##k off, just for fun. -
Their shops are maybe "duty free" but how come I can buy similar products they sell cheaper in a normal shop downtown?
Same as duty free in Melbourne airport. Prolly the same the world over. Let's face it, rentals in these buildings must be huge.

Yes I have considered the snip more then a few times myself too (am still actually). I feel if you make a kid your responsible.. you can of-course ask for an abortion (if within the time ect) but that is up to the mom too. It does not dismiss you from your responsibility.
Just go and do it. Gives you a great feeling of freedom.

Brown envelopes just got fatter.

Nine people in the ambulance. Gawd.

“It happened at a place where it should never have. There’s no other reason but because those bad guys are still there,” Prayut said. “We have to get rid of these bad people and it’s time for us to get in hands together.”
Maybe the translation isn't perfect, but the passage here doesn't make a lot of sense.
But then what the man says often doesn't make a lot of sense. -
How about gathering up all people involved in the provision/install/maintenance of cctv cameras around BKK, knocking their collective heads together, and getting them to actually do their jobs competently.
Seems every time there is an event where cctv footage would help, it is of little or no help because the cameras were off, broken, or not working for other reasons. It's pathetic. -
Sales declining in the US.
The company should take a good look at their product range therefore.
Maybe Americans are wising up to the fact that there are much better bikes out there. . -
The girlfriend obviously arrived at the lockup bearing gifts . . .

3 members of the team were injured. Just desserts.
Sad for the 7 bystanders. -
"retaining strict law enforcement".
Pleeeease, give me a break.
Hot air, all of it. -
"A passenger van crashed into a road-cleaning truck on the Don Muang-Din Daeng Tollway at just after midday on Monday, killing two passengers and injuring several others."
Didn't I just read how lowering the speed limit was going to save lives?
Let's face it. These drivers are dangerous at any speed.
Forward control vehicles. Sitting in the front you are in great danger, worse, as in Thailand, if you're not wearing a seat belt. -
The worst thing she ever did was to get a nose job.
Definitely no "sexy".- 1

Jesus. What a train wreck. This woman needs serious counselling.
More than that. She needs to be put down .. -

Come on, no need to go there. US and AU are cool. We got the gun thing ingrained in our DNA (Unless your a Lib) so were a little different.
Objection your honour.
In Australia (AU) we don't have guns in our dna. Not at all!!
Thank god for that.- 3
Will self driving cars ever take off in Thailand?

Ultimately yes, even in Thailand. I doubt if any readers here will live long enough to see it though.
And if motorcycles are still a problem there will a Thai accessory to biff them out of the way. (I'd like to see that). . .
