Drinking at home I can do most nights of the week if I choose, but having a couple of days off work and wanting to hits some decent bars, have a meal with a drink without having to get up in the morning is pretty difficult when everything is shut?

My favourite bars are closed, the restaurants I would like a glass of wine in are not serving. Grant you a beer in a mom and pop shop in 30 plus degrees in the middle of nowhere may be an option, but I would rather stay at home in that case. Been working here over 25 years, should that make a difference?

I haven't spoke to everyone individually, although from the faces I saw in the stadium on the TV, they were certainly having fun. Also the RH was packed last night, standing room only with people having a great time in there too.

Not to the thousands of people who had a great evening out.

True, although I see many farangs walk into bars, and straight out again. Read about farangs getting filled in because they dont pay their bins, but no one really wants to comment on that. But anyway, the good news is, if the club fails they can always put on a '2 chang for the price of 1' happy hour, hang up a few balloons for some free food and stick premier league on the TV. It will have the money no object farangs flocking in!
