Bangkok Hospital is excellent also. Agreed, a lot depends on where the doctor works. Bumrungrad and Bangkok are the top 2 for sure.

I have a personal choice too, found better surgeons for my injuries at Bumrungrad. Samitivej itself is pretty dated and cheaper for a reason, so no, not wrong.

It seems the improvements on this road have been ongoing since 1988 at least, the year I first traveled from Bangkok to Hua Hin. They haven't done bad in 33 years.

You get what you pay for, had some excellent surgery on some long term sports injuries enabling me me to stay very active. I would imagine most on here with negative comments are more down to jealousy.

I was amazed how little stock huge stores like Homepro carry. LED down lights- needed 35 to go through out the house but Homepro had 9 of the size I wanted. Wardrobe/furniture handles, needed 50 to replace in 2 bedrooms. Homepro had little choice, nor the quantity I needed and double the price. If you cant get it locally, online is the way to go.

I would tend to disagree, with under reporting due to the vast majority of people being mild and staying at home i would say it would be a significant chunk. On this very daily thread its argued every day that the figures are hugely under represented of what is actually happening in the real world. If we look at the current daily average of 50,000 a day that are reported (ATK and PCR) thats 1.5 million in a month. Then imagine whats not reported................
