My wife likes to refer to it as "fog" as she buries her head more deeply into the sand.

I've got to admit, there isn't much umami in a canned peach.

Ask to see Antoine's work permit and tell him that if he sends you 8000 baht you won't grass him to the authorities. -
Constantly watching disgusting people eat on TV!

I'm sick of hearing about these "influencers". They are the same as the vloggers that travel around the world discovering places and foods that get re-discovered every week by other vloggers. Modern day backpackers with recording devices following well trodden paths as if they are the first to ever walk them -
Water purification machines, do you trust them?

I use the one I installed and change the filter regularly. Between initial cost and filter costs it was probably more expensive than buying bottled water, about 10k plus 2k per filter change. -
Sell or rent?
Aussieroaming replied to liana3legend's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
Work out your rental return for 11 years minus any outgoings. If the nett sum exceeds the sale figure that is reasonably achievable then renting is the best economic option and you can then walk from the lease at the expiration of the current lease. Or sell and accept whatever profit you get. Real estate isn't fantastic here, though some seem to make profit on sales. -
I soak all of my T-shirts, towel, shirts and underwear in a bucket with soapy water for a couple of hours before putting them in the washing machine. This stops clothing holding onto bacteria regardless of whether it's cotton or synthetic. That stops your gear from ever stinking. Secondly make sure that everything is well dried, preferably in sunlight after washing it in the machine. For your personal body, periodically wash under arms etc with anti bacterial solution like alcohol every so often. Bacteria causes stink on your body and the anti bacterial kills the stink at its source. I also change my shirts at least a couple of times a day, more if I go out and about and I shower at least 2 times a day or more (if I go out and sweat somewhere). In other words, extra hygiene is important in hot, humid weather.

As they say..."follow the money". If in fact he did transfer funds to the Thai based woman then the trail will certainly be evident. If he is lying then he may well find himself in more trouble with the authorities. A word of caution to the clogman....don't trust the RTP not to try and squeeze their own share of silly money out of him.

Thailand-Türkiye relations – more than trade and investment

Tiny radioactive capsule goes missing in Western Australia
Aussieroaming replied to Scott's topic in World News
All of these sites have nominated Radiation Safety Officers and that radiation source should have been handed to the transport company by the nominated RSO in a "safe to transport" state, I.e. the source in the locked position within the meter. The excuse given, which blames the transport contractor and a "loose bolt" is total nonsense. -
I am sure that the men in the trenches on the Frontline fully support this politician doing it hard in Thailand on their behalf. The politician should be conscripted immediately into a Frontline position, so that he can contemplate his stupidity in posting selfies of himself working hard on his tan during a major war.
