  1. Much safer to walk up an uneven goat trail equipped with rickety or rusted hand rails, rotten timber steps, uneven concrete sections and random unprotected drop offs and pretend that national safety standards have been met.
  2. The police should only register cases filed by victims. You need to take you case to an applicable tribunal and have the facts adjudicated legally. The police become involved when they should just shut up and mind their own business and stick to their police mandate. Typically the police are skimming a fee to act as an Intermediary in disputes for which they have no real powers and they do this because many people do not understand the law and are afraid to involve lawyers or judges in case it costs them more.
  3. You should able to send a complaint to the department of weights and measures in the country of packaging. You are entitled to recompense as Lipton has broken the law. I doubt that Lipton would willfully break the law just to appease a Thai importer, most likely their own error. Very good pick up on your part to weigh their product.
  4. They could always arrest a few corrupt MP's while they are waiting for Thaksin's return.
  5. The only problem is that she doesn't realize that she is his "girlfriend".
  6. Junta inspired human rights and equity, it astounds me that Prayut hasn't won the Nobel Peace Prize yet.
  7. Well done, no need to spend that 1.9 billion baht on false advertising then.
  8. Actually they will spend about 100 baht and the remaining money will disappear as normal.
  9. They will add the satellite launch to other notable earlier technological successes such as developing a cure for cancer and developing Asia's first Covid 19 vaccine.
  10. Lack of confidence and trust is a commodity that both the politicians and the RTP have in spades.
  11. I drove back from Korat today and there was a large convoy of vehicles ( mini buses and 4 x 4's) all with sequential numbers visible and all bearing chinese number plates heading into Bangkok.
  12. If he wasn't born in the UK then charge him for a crime and deport him after his sentence.
  13. RTP...Rotten Thai Police. How many Thai Police aren't corrupt, because they should be screaming blue murder at the thieving police that masquerade as RTP.
  14. No matter how Prayut spins things, he will always be a Junta head of state instead of an elected statesman.
  15. Do the tourists get an advisory notice to stay in their hotel room for the day due to the heavy pollution?
  16. The RTP could fill the government coffers with motorist fine money daily but they don't generally enforce these road rules unless it's a mandated blitz. The system only works when there is a reasonable chance that they will get a personal gain for the effort.
  17. Thailand concerned more about its reputation than the actual death of foreigners on the island, zero compassion. His death may well be natural causes but the police assuring everyone that nothing nefarious has occurred without any forensic investigation or autopsy results to back up that claim is what causes the real speculation and damage.
  18. RIP fella, not everyone gets to work a job they love on a tropical island, as you did.
  19. RIP and to the bullies, the weight of her death is on your shoulders.
  20. He has always stayed there in order to be close to those that might plot to overthrow the illegitimate government.
