The police should only register cases filed by victims. You need to take you case to an applicable tribunal and have the facts adjudicated legally. The police become involved when they should just shut up and mind their own business and stick to their police mandate. Typically the police are skimming a fee to act as an Intermediary in disputes for which they have no real powers and they do this because many people do not understand the law and are afraid to involve lawyers or judges in case it costs them more.

You should able to send a complaint to the department of weights and measures in the country of packaging. You are entitled to recompense as Lipton has broken the law. I doubt that Lipton would willfully break the law just to appease a Thai importer, most likely their own error. Very good pick up on your part to weigh their product. -

No matter how Prayut spins things, he will always be a Junta head of state instead of an elected statesman. -
Thailand concerned more about its reputation than the actual death of foreigners on the island, zero compassion. His death may well be natural causes but the police assuring everyone that nothing nefarious has occurred without any forensic investigation or autopsy results to back up that claim is what causes the real speculation and damage.
