True but if you were to decide to build a new fusion reactor same as the current model, from scratch, your financiers would have to wait billions of years for their return on investment. Like you, I'm going to stick with our shared reactor which does 100% of my domestic electricity needs and, being such a versatile reactor, it also plays an important role in growing my rice.

Add to that a bit of PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) at say 1kHz, and the LED will look as though it's on full time but will only use power in accordance with the mark space ration of the PWM. In other words if the ratio is 9:1 (that's 9 "off" and 1 "on") then the LED will look like it's on but only use 10% of your 20mA power. I think that there may be a thermal fuse inside that bit of clear'ish sleeving. You might like to check continuity between the tow red wires connected each end of it. Also the thermal cutout looks a bit corroded where the blue wires are connected.

If I understand this landbridge idea correctly, a container ship docks at one end, unloads it's (200?) containers onto 200 trucks then moves away from the docks to make room for another to do the same. Then what does the ship do? He waits and waits for another cargo coming from the other end, but what cargo and where is it to be delivered. Probably a logistics nightmare.
