I went there this afternoon expecting to be the same as before. Hand the passport in with the last 90 Day attached. No, you need a copy of this and a copy of that. Why? This is (by my reckoning) my 66th 90 Day report.
In all that time I have lived at the same address and on my 17th Visa extension.
They have multiple copies of my passports and all the other information that they need. Surely they don't need another 5 sheets of paper, God knows how many trees get cut down just to fill Immigrations paper requirements?

Two things, Tigglebitties will be packed out and Lewinski's will be busy but you should be able to get a seat.

I'm pretty sure someone on overstay would ensure they didn't have to show their passport to anyone. Bus or train if they have to travel.

Thailand may be unable to change other countries but even a long road starts with a first step.

I thought you couldn't be deported to a country where you are not safe, and why don't they ask for political asylum?

I've asked this before but a long time ago. I want to turn my bike into a Salaeng (I think that's what it's called) like a food cart but with seats. You see them all the time at Bal Hi Pier. Does anybody have any idea where I can buy one? I already have a motorbike so I need the attachment. I know it will slow me down thru traffic but it's a lot more stable than 2 wheels and at 76 I'm not as stable as I used to be. I have just purchased a 3-wheel electric scooter for short distances but I need something for travelling from one end of Pattaya to the other.
The businesses that used to sell them on Sukhumvit don't seem to exist any more.

Does anybody think the new Central Meridian and u-turn places have made Theprasit Road's traffic run smoother and safer since it was built? I know I don't.

They should blindfold some of these officials and make them walk these pavements.. maybe they will understand what life is like for the elderly, frail, visually impaired or blind people.
Do they only think of themselves?
Walk the pavement, don't make me laugh.

Sitting in a bar in the early afternoon having a quiet drink as I do before I go home and cook dinner I noticed people coming in and buying a beer to take to the beach. I thought there was a 7/11 next door why come into a bar and pay their prices? Of course, it was 4 PM.

When I first looked it came up as Out of Stock then changed to normal. I think I was too quick to come out of those sites while searching. Just what I wanted. Thank you.

Does anybody know where to buy these? I found what I wanted on Lazada but was sent the wrong item. When I went back to Lazada every site I looked on at the right price was sold out. It will only be used to carry a battery to my condo as I can't plug my 3-wheeled scooter in the car park, Suggestions please.

Would have been nice to read in what direction the one way would be.

I didn't think of putting wide brim into search just golf hats. I found what I wanted in women's wide-brim hats. I have a small head 6 7/8ths in old money and none of the men's sizes were small enough.

The Doctor at BPH told me to wear a hat when out (possible cataracts). So I looked at Decathlon and Lazada, but virtually all they have are baseball caps (which I already have). I want a hat with a brim all round. So where is the place to look for a selection of hats at a reasonable price?

No you can only drive and own a car in Thailand if you have a work permit. Ask a silly question and get a silly answer.
So how do my retired friends own cars? I don't own a car (hire one when needed) but I do own my motorbike and I'm on my fourth set of driving licences and have never worked here.

That is the Pattaya Beer Garden. It's on Google Maps. Tucked away down a walkway where Beach Road ends with beer bars that used to be boxing rings one side, beach the other. It is huge but I find the ambience good. Excellent food at a fair but not cheap price every time I've been. I think it is expected that you order some food. Has wine by the glass as well as in bottle. Good table service. Huge long bar singles can sit at in the centre. Most tables on the waterfront have great views right along the bay. Lighting is low at these after dark so they bring a little lamp to see menu and your food. Open fronted kitchen so you watch the chefs at work. Toilets somewhat basic. Music videos are constant, mostly rock, on video screens & sound system in the central area but you can have a conversation without shouting. Sorry I think I just wrote a review!
Years ago it was a Thai restaurant.. Good food excellent prices. We used to eat there a couple of times a week. The same lady still owns the whole complex but I think nowadays she just leases the businesses out.

This reminds me of that highly educated politician who a few years ago said Korean barbeques caused the air pollution in Chaing Mai.

Bread pudding? Who wants that? Bread and Butter Pudding is where it’s at 😊I don't eat Bread and Butter pudding. If you like it carry on, but I won't.
By the way, Lotus's (South Pattaya) didn't have any Candied Peel when I went yesterday.

Every day while riding my motorbike in Pattaya I see loads of moving traffic violations. Ones which if you did in England you would get pulled over for (and probably breathalyzed). If I can see them every day how come the Thai Police can't?
-
Thanks for that, I will be off to Lotus later.

Where to buy in Pattaya. I've looked for it but can't seem to find it now. Does anybody know where? It's not for a Christmas Cake but a bread pudding. I can make it without but I would rather include it.

I know what the tyre pressure should be . 29 Front, 33 Rear. It's just getting Thais to do it with a pressure gauge instead of using their judgment on what it feels like.

You beat me to it. After reading the previous posts I went into the kitchen to do the washing up and think about what I was going to say, When I sat back down I saw your post. I would just like to say that I think that it's a wonderful example of Thai Logic.
