I'd like to thank all the Thais who ride on sidewalks and go wrong way all the time for likely saving my life...after surviving in Thailand i never ever ever cross a street or make a turn or anything similar without looking both ways 3 times...came in handy a few times in usa where running red lights and stop signs is a daily occurrence.  Thailand, if you survive, prepares you well for other countries.

I always thought I was a better driver back in the UK after driving here. Much more aware of traffic around me.

and he's good, busy clinic, nice bedside manner, i mentioned i wasn't a tourist in case he had 3 prices

I am going to my hearing aid place in a few days I'll get her to have a look and tell me how much wax I have. If it's too much I'll go to Dr Apichai. Many thanks for your help.

Not a Dr, a ENT specialist they will have the vacuum equipment, if you are in Pattaya i can recommend one

I use Hydrogen Peroxide 3% (20 Baht from most pharmacy's) but occasionally I feel the need to use a ENT Specialist. Who do you recommend?

  4. I use Simvastatin 10mg, trade name Bestatin. Have done for years. Cheapest I could find. My heart specialist at BHP knows and is quite happy with my choice. I buy all my drugs at Fascino.

Manufactured by Berlin Pharmaceutical. No side effects and my Cholesterol levels are fine. Berlin also manufactures my Caraten as well.

Better protection than before though, nothing before

Didn't need it before. I have been crossing the road for years, no problem. It was very rare to wait for more than a minute or two for a gap in the traffic and before Covid it was very rare to wait for a long time for a Baht Bus.

I haven't walked across the road since they put up the "wall".

Another point is that my trip to the Bank is now 4 kilometers instead of 2.

You must remove all the junk.

You must ensure drivers are up to date.

Start with a few simple fix free downloads that you will have no problem using.

    1. Norton Power Eraser.

    2. IObit Advanced System Care.

    3. IObit Driver Booster.

    4. Click on > Settings>Updates and Security>Updates.

    See what happens for starters.....☺️

Sorry to take so long to tackle this. Downloaded Norton nothing found. Then hit a problem, Malware bytes wont let me run IObit, any suggestions.

I was reading a Facebook group about this subject.

Sadly Thailand is becoming the land of the whinging foreigners.

Lots and lots of complaining and moaning expats, man up cry babies

I live local, been traveling Theprasit for over 20 years, it's dynamic, always changing, it's not perfect but it works.

In Oz we're taught to deal with things not moan and complain.

I'm glad to see they are installing traffic lights corner of Kophai. ????

It's got nothing to do with whinging it's pointing out the stupidity of the median strip. For someone with limited ability stepping over the "wall' is a nightmare and when it comes to the u-turns, well we all know how safe u-turns are.

Sangsom is a decent rum, only don't get fooled by buying a liter bottle, since it cost more per volume than a 70 cl bottle.

70 cl is 286 baht while 1 liter is 430 baht

    395 baht for 1 Litre at 7/11

  9. Well they have finally done it. Completely f---ed up Thepprasit Road. As of today I can no longer turn right from my Soi (Soi 10) nor Soi 8 or even by backtracking to Imagine 79 and Khan . They have even shut that off.

What with stopping the right turns into Rattanakorn Market and The Weekend Market they have even blocked of Tesco from Thepprasit. You either have to go to Sukhumvit and do a u turn at the lights or the u turn before Tesco drive back to Outlet Mall 2 and then turn left drive through the parking lot until you get back to what was for most people the way  into the original  Outlet Mall and Tesco.

Pattaya planners deserve something and it's not a medal.

  10. Many thanks for the replies. As a matter of interest what's the difference in price between Registered and EMS.  My letter weighs under 50g and is priced at 225 Baht but I cannot find the EMS price.

  11. I have just had my Marriage Certificate translated into English and Notarized (Euro Thai Law firm, very good 1,500 Baht).

I now need to send them to my Pension Provider in the UK.

What's the best way to send them? I don't need a fast service as I'm not planning on dying just yet. I just want the best and safest way. So once again looking for recommendations.

PS. To the people who recommended Euro Thai, thank you. I tried to find the post to thank you personally but was unable to find it.

  12. My branch is at Central Festival. It doesn't open to 11 o'clock. I only opened at this branch because I thought that the service to forefingers would be better, (more experience.). But I found that the Thepprasit Road branch (1 kilometer away) offered as good or better service and I could work out the best time to go by simply just riding past.,

When I did my visa extension 2/3rds of the paperwork were from the Thepprasit branch but I had to go to Central Festival for the last part.

The only time I go to central Festival is when I have to go to the bank. I am not a fan of malls. I have only been to Terminal 21 once that was enough for me.
