The first one. Harrow is only 450 years old.
My old neighbour (in the UK and now deceased) had a brother that went to Harrow. Apparently in the 1920's the brother's best friend would come and stay almost every holiday. Apparently that best friend was a Thai prince (no idea which one because no way could she remember the name!)!
My uncle was a good friend of Bobby Robson, very nice bloke, came to Sunday lunch at their house a number of times.
One of my very best friends was a very famous mountain climber from the US - he hated being well known. Not going to print his name here just because he wasn't really comfortable with being famous (he is now deceased). The only clue I will give is that one of his best buddies went on to create Patagonia clothing.
Went to Uni at the same time as Lembit Opik (politician) ; he was still a real nutcase back then. One of my best friends was very good friends with Anita Roddick (Body Shop). Unfortunately never got to meet her.
Met Bill Oddie a couple of times - turns out he was an avid birdwatcher , so would literally pop up in the middle of nowhere!

Maybe she was asking you for your member card number . You gave her your card PIN code instead of Rimping member card (which they accumulate points for you each time you shop) ??
However without the right member card number your name will not appear on the check out screen.

It goes without saying you should never give out your pin number ! You now need to go and change it asap.
On my last trip to Rimping the sales girl was happily ringing through our items that were continually showing up "error" on the screen. (She didn't bother to look) We handed back at least 6 items that had not shown up on the bill. If we had said nothing we would have had many free groceries. Maybe obtaining your PIN number is a way of balancing her books! Who knows!

According to Dominic Cummings, County Durham, UK, safe as houses there.
Just to be extra cautious he then went to check out that castle with the family. That was his plan B if things got worse. Maybe they will end up putting him in the castle anyway.

Following on from my last post - the process of cancelling Thai visa (the last thing to do). (Apart from getting Thai passport, which can be done at any time.)
If using CM immigration there is a counter labelled quite clearly "cancel visa". Going to that counter you will need to explain to them you are cancelling your visa as you now have Thai nationality.
They require your passport, your Thai ID card.
Photocopies (1 set) , of each page of passport incl. 90 days, TM entry card
also ID card (in my case I incl. house reg. but don't know if they required it).
They will require copies of the document that proves you have Thai nationality - which in my case was the copy of Royal Gazette announcement. A copy that came by post with attaching letter , stamped and signed (photocopy of each page, even pages listing other peoples names).
Took 20 mins max.; you will get a stamp in your passport saying that on xx date you no longer need to extend you visa as you now have Thai nationality. Date on stamp also gives date you cancelled your visa.

If you live here you should know it's their culture not to question anyone above them in the social ladder, or cause any loss of face. They must know their place.
I was assuming most Thais are scanning the QR code until today when I went shopping with a bunch of Thais. Lets just say they are going through the motions.

Mongolian sounds good to me, it can't be worse than the other options chosen by this clever government.
Throw in some free classes of Mongolian "throat singing" for the "sanook factor"!

I would think from now on flights from South and Central America will be even more expensive than they were , so goodbye to that market. Spanish economy not in good shape , they have cheaper options in the Eastern European and North African countries for holidays.

I think you will find at one stage the recipient called it "reasonable" - when it was questioned and appeared in the press a few years ago.

This has probably been discussed before but isn't it illegal to use your passport with the visa in Thailand after gaining Thai citizenship?
Could they give you an overstay fine(as a Thai) if you let it expire? How would they find out if you never use it?
I was told by the SB officer that handled my case from the beginning , that if I didn't cancel my visa , my foreign passport details would go on some sort of blacklist.

Our local dogs enter the 7/11 by themselves. They have worked out how to use the electric doors and know its nice and cool in there in the hot season! No accompanying human entities in sight. In fact not sure if they have owners.

The first massive issue I experienced today entering a mall and signing a book was ................................. anyone guess what it was ?
This issue defeats the whole purpose of trying to limit disease spread - I'll post the answer in a while
Huge queues ???
Sounds like this has been implemented today. I did shopping yesterday with no book signing or apps.

House registration and ID card all successfully achieved. Now the only thing left is to cancel my Thai visa in my foreign passport. Bet that will cause some confusion !!! Can't wait!

Yes, Khaosod English which is quite critical of the present government has recently been publishing some Xinhua articles.
I know Xinhua offer their 'articles' free as part of China's attempt to influence the media, but it's still odd. I've noticed that it seems ironic too.
Actually not that surprising :

Not having the app, he was asked to write his name and phone number in a big blank book.
I would rather go with this option since it is much less invasive than the app.

Taweesin said the Thai Chana app would serve 70 to 80 percent of the people who use mobile phones. The application will facilitate the government’s attempts to quickly track people infected with COVID-19 and those in close contact with them.
Ironically that piece of news is issued by Xinhua !

1) you deluded believe you important, that “government” care what you do. If you billionaire, spy, gangster or politician, maybe. You?
2) you complain thailand “not testing”. Not true, thailand first country test outside China.
Thisplan is for MORE free testing, now you complain? Again
Deluded.
There is a supposition that a differing point of view is seen as a sign of self importance . This is not the case and not the proper use of deluded.
To single someone out as "self important " because they go against the "mainstream beliefs" is a shaky standpoint in a debate. In the present type of debate it is also somewhat ironic.
The picture above is somewhat of a revelation in that we all generically become "the public".
Lets hope we all enjoy becoming a biological resource. (sarcasm)

My best friend has a log cabin in Wyoming and I must admit if I had a US passport I would spend a portion of the year there. I may even look into getting some kind of visa so I can spend some time there every year. Miles and miles of hiking, nice neighbours who aren't exactly neighbours because they live a hike away. The view from her house is meadow then mountains. I don't know if I would survive the winter though!
