  1. Yep i try to avoid all drains and pot holes etc, i got YSS fitted but no noticeable difference
  2. As above 1 app and multiple browsers. Multiple of the same app cannot
  3. Maybe Zoom or similar is available for the funeral ceremony, must have been available during covid
  4. These fake tablets and phones, if they go to the trouble to fake the specs, probably add spyware, etc, just don't use for banking etc
  5. Low? you mean healthy?
  6. had a yearly blood test recently, mandatory blood pressure 109/62, pulse 52
  7. they are all the same 500 paracetamol, i thought everyone knew that, maybe an added placebo if you pay more
  8. Just do a will, she also will need enough money to pay the bills
  9. In the normal green range
  10. It takes time, months, years to find the best routes, maybe look at Strava to see where others go, 100s of routes
  11. Good idea but the companies won't be in favour of that, too easy to highlight the bad companies
  12. UK travel insurance policies are very clear in black and white, sounds like it covered 125cc as that is the standard when riding a motorcycle is covered, the engine size she rented was higher hence claim denied, quite clear to me. Ignorance is not an excuse, she should have skim read the policy doc then checked the bike cc
  13. Best to pay total balance by direct debit every month, avoids these mistakes
  14. The article said the reason for claim denial is because of the class of scooter/motorbike, not because of no driving licence although that is often another reason for denial
  15. "insurance saying they rejected my claim due to the scooter I hired being classed as a motorbike" usually travel insurance only covers up to 125cc unless you seek out higher cover. Why don't people read the policy doc? even skim read the important parts
  16. Travel insurance is great value unlike health insurance, my last travel insurance was for 18 months, condition of being in UK previous 6 months
  17. What YSS should i get? seems different options 2k to 5k, G series, 320, 340, no idea what the difference is?
  18. Yep i just do this. Notifications take too long to load though
  19. Strange how some deaths reach the news and others don't, a few weeks ago 3 white cars racing on Hua Yai in Pattaya, they crash killing an innocent scooter rider, never made the news
  20. Some people recommend standing up over bumps but doesn't seem to work well on a scooter
  21. You're right there when i rode a PCX once it had a floaty armchair feeling, didn't like it at all, but there is a benefit it seems
  22. I pump up the tyres myself and they vary from 25 to 40 at the back depending when i bother to do it, I've not noticed any difference in smoothness. Koh Chang vs Pattaya massive difference, no potholes or bumps every 100 yards
  23. Yes, can double it for double the premium
  24. Agent for opening an account is about 5k including bogus insurance, if you put the 800k in ASAP then easy to do the next steps yourself, otherwise agent will still charge 20k+ probably
  25. Pattaya seems to have the worse roads for back pain, 20 mins of riding around and my back hurts, on koh Chang last week, no problem as the roads are much smoother. I have a Honda Click, yes i can get better shocks, still not sure they'll be good enough. Is there a scooter that's smooth even over speed bumps? I don't really want another enduro type bike or motorbike unless a last resort
