I opened a Krungsri account in Pattaya using just guesthouse invoices no need for Res Cert but that was about 3 years ago, so maybe different now, no harm in checking with banks first before wasting potentially hours at Jomtien Immigration
I bought a condo from thai quota, it transferred into my name as foreign quota. Thais seem to prefer paying a lot more for new rather than a good value older condo, thai logic
❌ Incorrect. In Pattaya for example there definitely can be a difference in price, demand for foreign quota is greater than thai quota, if foreign quota isn't full then there should be no difference in price, but sometimes still is
A Thai will, big deal, 5000 baht. Thai quota condos are always cheaper, for a reason, people don't want them, foreign quota are more in the demand, a better investment for your child
In Pattaya the yield on higher priced condos seems lower than lower priced condos, Phuket probably the same. They don't seem to be good investments, back home yes property usually is, due to limited supply and high demand. Off plan is also high risk to be avoided, possible exception if it's a stock market quoted company
That's disappointing, technically Immigration could have lost it if you'd gone direct. Good luck getting it sorted, you have the best agent on your side
I've never asked but it's extremely unlikely it's Thai post, too unreliable, probably motorbike or even bus, thought i saw agent on Bangkok Pattaya bus yesterday
