  1. If new to Wise you should initially send a small test amount so you can be sure the process works correctly before switching to a larger amount
  2. Pretty much everything comes down to a knob measuring contest, coffee, motorbike, sport equipment, car etc
  3. I would use the Facebook app and set up a new account, with new email if necessary, forget the old one, too much hassle to resurrect
  4. I don't think they get stolen, much more likely they fall off as mine did, screw came loose, same happens to number plates. I wasn't sure whether to use original or copy in tax disc tube, i went with original and check screws aren't loose
  5. You could say the same for flu vaccines, but not believing anything or suspicious of everything soon goes to conspiracy theories
  6. My tax disc fell out so like you i keep a colour copy but at home to use as a replacement, going to transport office for a replacement is a PITA so I'm not doing that again
  7. I'm having my robusta in the morning to try and use it up, Arabica afternoon, don't think I'll buy the Vietnam robusta again
  8. Lot's of ebikes in Pattaya bought locally
  9. One asked me for a green book copy earlier this year so you better get a copy of that too
  10. Sugar doesn't have to be the enemy, trouble is people who eat loads of sugar also eat loads of fatty junk food. I'm fine with sugar in fact I don't drink coke anymore i just add sugar to water after exercise
  11. I thought everyone knew that the vaccines don't stop you catching covid but reduces the severity
  12. ok I'm assuming the "expat" version is April International as April Thailand is also for expats
  13. It doesn't seem to be part of the FSCS so not part of the £85k and euro equivalent
  14. Just to confirm, you've got the April International (France) insurance? not the Thai version? Good to hear good claim news
  15. i don't bother with a copy passport, I've been stopped by police maybe 20 times and they've never asked. i do carry a Thai driving licence which has passport number
  16. He might be referring to the ground coffee at 7Eleven which can be nice if they don't screw it up, usually not enough water, and maybe no milk
  17. If near Thepprasit, the 50 Satang shop opposite night market will laminate it for 25 baht or so, or go to one of those kodak shops probably 100 baht one on 2nd road by Klang. Another place in Jomtien soi 5 just past immigration on right they'll want 200ish
  18. Receiving a bank cheque is normal, they can take a photo of it in advance and send to you so you can check it looks legit. What % split of fees have you agreed? these are paid in cash. Have a sale agreement, A4 1-2 sheets should cover it, templates online
  19. There's a definite skills in making coffee, buy good beans or ground coffee and still screw it up. Mokapot does require more work but once you've found how to get the best coffee out of it it works well. Even instant coffee can be ruined with different quantities of coffee, milk and too hot
  20. Probably correct, the coffee is bitter which is a sign of Robusta beans, i add milk and sugar to a black coffee 40 baht and it's nice
  21. You can be allergic to instant coffee like Nescafe gold, I've switched to ground at home, can come up in allergy tests. Too many instant coffees was one of the reasons i had stomach issues for a while
  22. You don't say where it's leaking from but if it's the head try cleaning it, also plumbers tape from My DIY may solve it
  23. Altitude sickness is awful, they should have come down straight away
  24. Are you sure that wasn't flu? did you get tested? i had flu and appetite disappeared for weeks, for food and drink, good when it comes back
  25. That's not the case now, usually only a few foreigners max on the early bus. There's always a few people including Thai who sit in the wrong seat which is understandable as the numbering is confusing, They get moved by the ticket lady
