  1. Ive never found friendship good value vs Big C, Makro, market
  2. I have one, my normal condo door, then a chrome mosquito door, looks pretty good. I found a good place that makes them made to measure, down soi nern plub wan, 7k, some other place wanted 14k for the same, falang price. They are great for air flow, for me usually from front door and out the balcony, when the front door is shut you can feel warm quickly so definitely worth having one fitted subject to being able to
  3. I know someone who was in a coma for 6 months at Bang Lamung hospital, paid nothing until he woke up
  4. No, unlikely, generally speaking too much supply, can pretty much build anywhere and do, right next to your condo so everything blocked out. Houses and land has more upside but of course illegal if in company name
  5. are you sure? usually it's a pitiful amount of medical expenses per accident like 20k baht
  6. The cross ventilation front door mosquito doors are usually against condo rules, stupid but that's how it is here. Have a look at other condos see if anyone has done it, if so give it a go, maybe don't ask the office
  7. Lifecare lab on 3rd road
  8. Did you consider a change in diet i.e. low fat?
  9. ah so people don't need a gall bladder? kinda redundant?
  10. Yeah and probably if you complain he'll stab you 555 they do look close to homelessness
  11. You'll get an answer to this question on Facebook Pattaya Oracle. I occasionally see guys wheeling round loads of knives, I'm sure they sharpen knives and must be based somewhere
  12. Thai logic, the committee must be drunk
  13. Not really, opening a thread is better as people can pick up tips
  14. @BritManToo has a skype UK number, the other alternative is order a giffgaff sim from UK takes about a week to arrive then top up and use every 6 months
  15. Pay as you go. I think you're right about the Skype number although I've not looked into it
  16. With Skype you can just PAYG, credit £5 will be enough for a while. If you had a UK mobile number you can set that up on Skype so when you call banks etc that number shows up. I wouldn't bother with a monthly subscription
  17. My taste for coffee disappeared after my recent flu, the smell of the ground coffee made me nauseous, everything back to normal about 4-6 weeks later
  18. If you are going to get poor advice from an expensive hospital you might as well go to a cheap one. I've only tried Bang Lamung once and they were surprisingly good, I'll probably try again for something not too serious
  19. Facebook adverts are a risk, they often follow what you've been searching for on Lazada etc. Comments left the seller doesn't like gets deleted and more importantly, no reviews or ratings. Were there reviews and ratings on your facebook ad? i doubt it
  20. i just checked the AIS thing and it's 5/7 baht to UK
  21. Good point, Thais rely heavily on CCTV to catch criminals
  22. I called Santander yesterday due to a Wise transfer issue, using Skype it's only 2p a minute so less painful
  23. My educated guess is banks wouldn't charge for this otherwise no one would do it, they do charge for credit card transfers
