  1. Doesn't mean they are correct, this is Thailand, truck driver needs a lawyer
  2. Strange, my guys cleaned outdoors too
  3. Yeah self clean is generally filters in the shower but a proper 500 baht clean does much more than that. Instruction manual says more regular cleaning is needed. Problem is AC boys use it as an opportunity to say you need gas + another 200 baht
  4. not really but noticable when an expensive car drives crazy, yesterday a Bentley, driving recklessly Thepprasit Thepraya and Pratumnak, could easily of crashed
  5. The trucker may have looked and no BMW but if he was going way too fast couldn't stop in time
  6. you probably think it's ok because over 50 and 1900 baht a year is good, but under 50 you get in a world of pain with border runs etc etc. Why should a 49yo be treated differently to a 50yo? both could be retired. Not much logic involved
  7. I don't think so, not based on when i researched it a few years ago
  8. Good point, no filters, criminals are welcome, it's money based. Any riff raff allowed in
  9. the govt insurance goes up to 80k\85k medical if non fault, but i imagine proving that will be an issue
  10. I've always thought they should charge per month, rather than age etc but doesn't appear to be as simple as that
  11. You get these Mercs, BMWs, Bentley's driving crazy. New Mercs with red plates particularly bad, I'm guessing some gik in there who can't drive
  12. It's fine for retired people, non imm O
  13. Maybe not the truckers fault, was the BMW going too fast, very likely
  14. for the condo to be under foreign quota you'll need your bank to produce a letter saying money came from abroad so you can't just use any money already in the country
  15. This is my Axa policy, I've had it a few years, apply to 65, renewable to 74, about the best around. I've actually got the 6,900 premium, 250k medical cover, it's an old policy but they keep me on it, current policy available is below https://www.axa.co.th/en/AXA-PA-Sabuyjai-My-Exclusive
  16. I suspect the agent won't respond after that request
  17. I noticed many roads had them in Kasetsin Pattaya area last night, look ridiculously over the top, plus how will they last before they stop working, I'll guess a couple years then they are worthless
  18. Don't say that, loads of people on this thread reckon quoting the various laws will prove an IDP isn't needed 555
  19. Dunno, if you take it on face value, 3 years without a thai licence, might suit some people
  20. There was a Thai lady advertising as a care giver a couple days ago in Pattaya, maybe she would consider Bangkok. If you want her facebook details let me know. She posted 2 ads one said 20k a month depending on situation
  21. Yep, also illegal thai company way, funds come from anywhere. might be a way if earnings from working in Thailand
  22. "hidden agenda for personal gain" a bit like all those over the top flashing road cats eyes all over Pattaya
  23. 500 baht extra charge for no covid vaccine certificate is a bit weird as usually you don't even go to the Cambodia side. Where is that LR Travel service?
  24. Showing photos always leads to disappointment, but most barbers on Buakhao aren't comfortable with scissors, only clippers
  25. Haha, so posting all these health links etc you must be really healthy, what's your BMI, blood pressure, HbH1c? you know all that stuff?
