Every year and every holiday season it is the same thing. The same old tired and blatantly obvious warnings and the same road death tolls. Nothing changes, so expect nothing to change. Be careful out there.

The authorities never seem to wake up to the aggressive and dangerous driving and behavior that you can collectively witness by van drivers, taxi drivers and tuk tuk drivers every hour of the day on Phuket roads. Just look at the accidents caused by these people - including the taxi driver that jumped the red light and took out the Ukrainian motor cyclist nearly killing him. The press is full of incidents. No red light cameras, seemingly no punishment. This is just another example.

He looks like a heart attack waiting to happen.

He should have shot himself first.

As the saying goes .. there is one born every minute.

There seems to be no change in the first 100 days. Lots of overseas trips though.

And this is the most revolutionary idea that the Ministry of Finance could come up with?

1. Pretty sure dating apps only accept 18 years old as a minimum. 2. Hope he gets the 18 years in prison if he is guilty as accused

Taiwanese are very nice and polite. No complaints about their behavioir. Good country to visit.

Inside the vehicle, rescue teams discovered Mr. Curie L., a 60-year-old British national, ........ who was old enough to know better than drink and drive and was lucky enough not to have to have killed an innocent bystander with his irresponsible and selfish behaviour. Probably not the first he has done this ... but the first time he got caught. Hope he bears the cost of the damage and the insurance company does not pay.

The UK education system has declined to abysmal levels and they all speak English .. throwing the correlation into doubt me thinks.

Its complete rubbish. Commercial flights started in 1914 over 100 years ago ... airline safety standards and engineering standards are second to none .... and there is no data available on average weight distribution for individuals ... anywhere .. including national health services? Airlines are looking to gouge passengers yet again ... Ryanair even call it a "fat tax".

I just did a "pass it on" for a 4 year university course for a Thai student with very good GPA grades and no family money to attend University. The girl is smart and sensible but her future would have just ground to a halt because of lack of money for education. The deal is this ... I pay the university fees for 4 years and she then promises, when in the work force, to sponsor her kid brother if he gets the grades or another stranger in the same way that I have just done and that person must sponsor another. In this way, each recipient passes a gift of education onto the next ...... I hope. I can't help think that the funds for the THB 10k handout can be better used in someway as a scholarship for rural kids with good grades ....
