  1. It's just a matter of days before it's everywhere. You can't stop it only delay it a little bit.
  2. I have a laminated EU (Dutch) certificate in my car as i travel a lot between Phuket and PhangNga and never had any issues to return back to Phuket. Show my certificate together with my yellow house book and can drive straight through.
  3. I'm thinking to install solar for mine own house. Is it possible to supply to the grit if you produce to much electricity for your own usage ? And if so how is this metered ?
  4. But that's the whole point, Almost everybody can fly back home. That you like it or don't want to do is not a valid reason i think. Phuket does not require (yet) a ticket for the Covid extension. But they don't issue the Covid extension if people are on a (Dodgy) volunteer visa.
  5. Transit does not effect your country restrictions as long it's on one ticket and you don't leave the transfer area and the transit is less then 24 hours.
  6. They are clamping down on the "dodgy" volunteer visas. Phuket immigration does not grant Covid extensions anymore if they have a volunteer visa unless it is from a recognised organisation in Phuket.
  7. The letter was required in the early days of the Covid extensions, I know her well enough to know what her position is ???? Maybe she does know or doesn't know but it is the opinion they have.
  8. Phuket immigration thinks that the Covid extension program will be only extended for people who can get a embassy letter confirming that they can't fly back to their country due to Covid.
  9. There is no check what so ever when driving to Phang Nga from Phuket.. But for returning back to Phuket via Sarisin bridge you will need to be fully vaccinated. I drive this route several times a week and I show my EU vaccination certificate together with my Phuket house book and this is fully accepted.
  10. I can confirm that AIS WifiCall works anywhere in the world. I use it now on a regular basis when I'm not in Thailand and don't have cellular reception.

    Sunday brunch

I have a question, Are there still Sunday brunches on Phuket? I tried to find them but most of them are closed or don’t do it anymore.
  12. Online ordering via a commercial web shop is not allowed but ordering via email or any other means is still allowed.
  13. For sure we have a few dredging ships which we can spare for a special price ????
  14. Thailand count indeed also for the 21 day rule ????
  15. As they are working under the direct supervision of the Royal Thai Police they are exempt of the WP rule.
  16. Yes, the requirement of staying for 21 in approved countries is for everybody. The general consensus is that you can travel between the approved countries but you have to confirm this with the Thai embassy where you apply the COE.
  17. Life is not always fair unfortunately. But the rules have not changed recently.
  18. HSA+ hotels are for the sandbox arrivals with their own rules like the 3 testing etc. He entered under quarantine program in a LASQ hotel which have their own rules as he is not vaccinated. The programs are not changes recently.
  19. Don't have to be a Thai insurance company for the COE, any insurance is allowed as long they have a statement that the policy covers Covid for at least 100.000 Usd.
  20. If i read it correctly that in case you travel to Samui after the 14 days sandbox you have to stay again in your hotel room for 3 days and 14 days on Samui in HSA+ hotels before you are allowed to leave Samui for a domestic destination ?
  21. So you lived here for a very short time and didn't like and moved on. That's is fine but why do you (and others) have to bash any effort the people make to get expats and tourist back into the country ? Is the Sandbox perfect, off-course not far from I have to admit. But at least it gives the people a alternative to the 14 day room quarantine in a Bangkok hotel. Personally I see much more costumers and people in general due to the Sandbox program and every help in those days. I'm sorry but I'm a little bit sad and frustrated by all the negativity specially from people who are not involved or effected. We should look at what can be done better then just say that all is <deleted> and useless.
  22. Kho Samui has slightly different rules and those people have to transfer in BKK to a Bangkok Air plane. I'm not 100% sure how this is organised. For Phuket sandbox it has to be a international arrival into Phuket or via BKK without leaving the plane. (flight which makes a stop in BKK and continues to Phuket)
  23. The only way would be if the plane lands in BKK and continues to HKT without you leaving the plane. Other options are not possible.
