  1. Is it confirmed that ex sandbox people can return back to Phuket after they left Phuket ? I understood from the new entry guidelines that this was not possible.
  2. Like with many things, if you don't like it you don't have to use it. My COE took 5 hours from start to finish, except for the nightlife most is open, specially outside Patong. You can always stay at home.
  3. First i went home via BKK but now via the sandbox program.
  4. You can also leave Phuket after your 14 days quarantine period, Same for everybody (Thai's and foreigners) who arrived via the sandbox program. Everybody can leave Phuket as long they follow the travel rules for the place they are going to. The tests are not on top of the 3 pre-booked test. It is test 1 and 2 of the 3 test cycle. So there is no price increase for them
  5. You don't have to go if you don't want. But I'm happy it's there so i and others can go home a little bit easier.
  6. It depends on the Thai embassy in the country where you apply for the COE what they accept the type of vaccination certificates. For example the Thai embassy in the Netherlands accept the Dutch vaccination booklet which can be in Dutch but in general they should accept a English certificate as long it is recognized in the country of COE application. Therefore you should ask the embassy what they accept for prove.
  7. You can book via Agoda (or any other platform) but the hotel has to be fully paid by them and only then the hotel will issue you the SHA+ certificate. The issue is that some booking platforms don't pay the hotel in full straight away and therefore the hotel won't issue you the certificate.
  8. I don't think so, only residents of Phuket are allowed entry or people who entered Thailand via the Sandbox scheme. Those people also need the vaccination and test certificates. Normally that isn't accepted as proof of residence, Only the house book is as mentioned in the article.
  9. That's exactly the same reason for me. The whiskeys I'm interested in are not available in Thailand or bloody expensive. Normally I put one bottle in each bag (2 checked and 1 hand carry) and this is never a problem in Bangkok. Specially not during Covid as they are trying to stay as far away as possible from the luggage ???? Therefore I'm interested in Phuket experiences.
  10. I have a question for when i arrive back home via the sandbox program As i never arrived internationally via Phuket airport i don't have any experience with this. Normally i bring from whiskey with me to take back home which is never a problem when flying via Bangkok. But how strict is Phuket customs with checking the bags as i maybe have a extra bottle with me ????
  11. You are mixing up two different things, You get the test result from the hotel (together with the quarantine paper at check-out) and alternatively you can download it from the website. If you need a official medical statement (if you fly out internationally from Phuket for example) you have to pay for it. But this medical certificate is not required for staying in Phuket or traveling within Thailand.
  12. Does anybody has experience with wi-fi calling with AIS. I have a iPhone X and wi-fi calling enabled. But I can't figure out how wi-fi calling works and to get it working.
