UK pensions. Is this the right forum?
Gandtee replied to Gandtee's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
I got my pension and arrears back after two months. There must be a better system than the present one. How do those living from hand to mouth survive with no pension? Fortunately I don't fall into that category. -
Go to the head man to sort it out. The police are not interested in 'minor to them' reports.

During the UK Mad Cow disease, scare, Thailand banned all beef products from the UK. Is that ban still in operation? It seems that the supermarkets do not now carry Knorr beef stock cubes. Oxo cubes. Bisto gravy powder and the like. Or is my wife shopping in the wrong places around Pattaya?

Rip Van Winkle said that he is prepared to be a sleeping partner in the Prime Ministership position. Just a watchdog.???? -
My wife's irritable every morning.???? Election results or no election results. I never broach the subject of royalty, religion, or politics. I think normal discussion on anything here is not easy. Face and greng jai is a great impediment in Thailand. I've found that to disagree with someone does not go down well. Each nationality has its norms I suppose. I heed the motto. 'A still tongue keeps a wise head.'????

Close call: Young boys narrowly escape watery fate in Phuket
Gandtee replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
I'm not a medic, but if they were breathing, their hearts were pumping? Was CPR necessary? Surely trying to clear their lungs would have been the way to go. I saw a Thai man throw an almost drowned man over his shoulder and jumped up and down. A stream of water was regurgitated and the person began to breath. I hope the boys recover completely. -

Isn't this procedure just what gets people killed or injured? I doubt that they teach road awareness, rules of the road and adhering to them. Tell me I'm wrong. It might enable a person get a license. But a license doesn't mean you are a proficient rider.
