I would be careful if you are not traveling outside the country to obtain an ed visa,and it is being obtain by SOME SORT OF AN AGENCY. Would that involve losing site of your passport for any length of time?

Use the 1st 60days on entry, when it nears the end of that 60 days stay, get an extension at immigration for 30days 1,900 baht. before that 30days expires, do a border run and then start the 60days and 30days over again, that will give you about 180 days here.

If you are driving and do not mind the journey then a trip into Burma via Mae Sai [extreme northern border] would give them another 15 days, and an extra border stamp. There is not a lot to see, but it is interesting to see borders at least once, or so I think. Usually the other option would be Mae Sot in the west, but that has been closed for about a month by Burma, sorry Myanmar.

Alternatively cross into Laos, but that is more expensive, especially for a party.

The 7 day extension would also take care of the 6 day problem, so you will be OK.

Would it be possible to create a sticky that shows the latest position with border crossings, as Myanmar has been closed for some time, and with all the goings on at Preah Vihear temple. it would in my opinion be good to have a one click link to the latest information. I have a border run to do on the 24th, and was looking to go to Myanmar for a change, and to make a bit of a holiday out of the journey, it looks like I will have to go to Cambodia now, but that could change at short notice.

I would guess at overheating, blow a fan onto the front of the machine and see if that makes a difference.

Leave one stick of memory and the graphics card (if you have one) and then unplug everything else from the motherboard - harddrives, dvd drives,any other pci cards,usb drives/sticks and then boot into bios, wait and see if the same problem occurs, if not replace items one at a time and check.

download the file and then add to the end .doc - example download AB file which is standard Visa Application Pack, and then once downloaded add the .doc to the end of the file name AB, it will then open in microsoft word. I have had this problem with the hull site for a while.

You can not be in Thailand when a visa is issued for Thailand.

obtain a tourist visa as close to leaving as possible,double entry would be good as that may cover you for the second entry into Thailand, not sure where you are going in India so as Lopburi said you may be able to obtain there,if a single entry only is available, get that and use for your first entry, and then try and obtain another whilst in Lao or Cambodia for your second entry.
