I have read that it can reduce the intake of vitamins to your body because of stomach acid reduction . As regards BUN I cannot see that on my blood test results , however HCT was low at 34% . My diasttolic b/p hovers around 60 and seldom hits 70 . Systolic ranges from 114 to 149 at rest . Today B/P was 129 / 63 . Doctor told me to have another blood test after 1 month on the iron tablets and vit B . I will start the HCTZ tomorrow morning after breakfast .

Booking with agents may get you a cheaper ticket but if there is a cancellation of your flight , you are on your own if booked with an agent , as you have said . If booked with an airline direct and the flight is cancelled the airline will offer an alternative flight . However , recovering your money from a cancellation is not always straight forward , often with agents and sometimes with airlines . That is why it is prudent to take out a travel insurance at the time of booking because the insurer will pay you out whilst dealing with the agent / airline . Further more , there are many dodgy agents out there and some show a London office but they are often based in India and the Indian agent says his name is Dave , Mike , Peter etc . It was such a company that ripped me off for a grand but I recovered it within 1 week using my banks fraud team . Lastly the likes of Momondo , Skyscanner , Kayak etc , are not direct agents , they are third parties acting for many direct agencies . Not forgetting that when booking with agencies you must check your luggage allowance as often that come as an expensive extra . Unlike with airlines , booking with agents , sometimes does not give you the option to select your seats which could be a problem if travelling with family or friends which could mean you are sat apart , especially on a popular flight .

Had both eyes done for cataracts in the UK and was given eye drops as an anesthetic . But an injection into the eye would not be for me . Is that only done in Thailand ? Both my ops were done in private eye hospitals that treated only eyes . Including pre-op preparation , I was there both times for 3 hours and then on my way home in a taxi . There after , eye drops 3 times a day for 2 weeks and also a plastic eye patch that was worn at nights to stop any rubbing on the eye . Check up after 1 month . Thai guy in Bangkok had the cataract op and said he stayed in for one night and home the next day but had no eye drops . My local Thai government hospital does about 14 cataract operations a day , carried out by a lady eye surgeon . Free for Thai but farangs 25,000 baht per eye , including an overnight stay in a non V.I.P. room

K. Starmer has said that if Labour are elected they will retain the triple lock on UK State pensions and freeze the age of pension qualification at 66 years old . I for one would like to hear his reply , ( say on BBC Question Time ) , if asked if Labour would unfreeze pensions for those living abroad . At best I reckon it would be a political type reply without committal . The grey votes exceed 500,000 . so it is not to be sneered at .

You are quoting agency prices . I will never buy from an agency having been ripped off once ( eventually recovered 1000 pounds ) . I buy direct with the airways . It maybe a bit pricier but it is far safer .

Just moved the Wizz TV box to another room with a different Ethernet cable and the service is working . However the Internet speeds are not good and I could not get Ookla or Race Speed tests to connect

I have just done 4 speed tests with 3 companies and leaving my V.P.N. connected . test my.net Download = 59.5 upload 5.5 race Communications , Download = 148.8 Upload 71.4 Fast , Download = 190 Upload = 110 Ookla , Download = 172.48 , Upload 78 All tests at the same time , what a variance . I am with 3BB and they use Fast.com for speed tests .

Thanks , I did a couple of tests , one with my VPN and one without . Not much difference but upload very low at 2 and 5 MBPS the download was 96 MBPS . I will visit my internet company today . I am paying for a V.I.P. service which guarantees no less than 200 MBPS , no matter how busy the Internet traffic is . Any idea why the upload is so low ? Wizz have told me that there has been damage to some sub sea internet cables by sabotage but that does not account for my service working one day but not the next .
