    By the way the strength of the US Dollar is causing many problems around the world and not just Thailand . The free market is creating problems . Intervention is needed before a collapse occurs . The cycle at the moment is a runaway train . Sri Lanka was just a beginning .

    Yes, I see there could be problems .I have thought to renew one more time with the agent and apply with Chiang Mai after the next 12 months .I have more than the 800000 now and I have a income of around 50000 a month that has been paid to a Thai bank account for over one year now. There could be a problem still with the TM30 showing Chiang Mai . Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

    I have not asked them my self . I have just been going on what I have read . I will go in and ask . I used a agent for my last extension using a immigration office in the Bangkok area. Can that be a obstruction in a application in Chiang Mai? I thank you for your reply .

    I have a question on the combination method income and money in bank . I understand that Chiang Mai immigration will not accept a combination application . I am resident in Chiang Mai so my question is can I go to a immigration office elsewhere yet still show as living in Chiang Mai ?

    The baht is not tanking it is the US dollar that is increasing because of the federal reserve has increased interest rates . Many expect a 1 percent increase at the next federal reserve meeting later this month . If that happens things will get interesting .

    How can you say they are breaking the law when they don't know what law they are breaking? Ignorance of the law is more the way to put it. They have no idea why the double yellow lines are painted on the middle of the road . Little idea why lanes are marked . The list is so long of there ignorance regarding traffic rules

    Not a problem if you design the staircase correctly . Allow a large circumference and a sensible tread height .

    Replace the staircase with a spiral staircase with the steps no more than 17cm. You see many badly designed staircases in Thailand

    I complain verbally if I am not getting what I am paying for . I would never write reviews good or bad . I just do not use the business again . The internet has created a new way of complaining which I feel is unfair to a business in most cases .

    Too many customers complain over nothing . Foreigners should be made more aware of the laws in Thailand. Best policy is to not use the business again and forget crying to the world of your experience.

    So many comments about three on the motorcycle . The driver of the suv pulled directly in front of the oncoming motorcycle . The girls had no chance to avoid the accident . Therefore the driver of the suv is 100 percent at fault . I always go out to the right when approaching a car waiting to go out from a side road just to be sure i do not end up like these unfortunate girls .
