Thailand to introduce 500 baht tourist entry fee from Jan 1st
itsari replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think the 500 baht entry fee is the wrong way to go . Thailand has been toying on a entry fee for some time and now when there need for tourists has never been greater they decide . If they need extra income make the man in the photo redundant as that would be a definite advantage for Thailand -
I am not living in any of the places you mentioned . I appreciate that where i live is cheaper . But you choose what you can afford or want to afford . You are correct in saying I have invested money and time for the roof over my head . If you have to rent then my decision to live here may of been different . . The House does generate income as well . But the money generated goes back into the house to make more money in the future .

I experianced similar problems with termites . I replaced the door frames with best quality and touch wood forgive the pun , all is fine after some years . Price of the quality frames were around 3000 baht . Price of the frames eaten by termites were 900 baht I did eradicate a termites nest under the house yet they are still around if you leave any soft wood hanging around . I think they are impossible to be rid of them .

I have food on the table , roof over my head and 3 to 4 bottles of Chang beer a day on 12000 of the local inflated currency . Your estimate of a minimum 66000 seems way over the top in my opinion .

itsari replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Try and read the whole article . The wife of the man that killed the Thai has divulged to the police that the man killed had been showing interest in her . That should make any sherlock begin to look deeper into the story given by the house owner . -

The vaccination programme's around the world are showing none of the vaccines are effective at stopping infection . What is clear that all the vaccines are affective in stopping severe symptoms which in turn prevents hospitalisation and death . Chinese vaccines included . Third vaccines appear to be what is needed to sustain the vaccination program . -
