  1. Feel sorry for them not.. Never seen 3 people over stay, let alone one without knowing... No money, but plans to keep holidaying in Malaysia, funny shit.........

A lot of bitter negative people on this site. Yes was stupid to overstay but I have had same happen to me , went to immigration to extend visa was told I could not because was already on overstay. They said could see why I made mistake becuase visa stamp was over another and looked lik,e differnt date. As far as not having money to travel in Malayasia ever think they had paid for hotels and tour in advance/ Ever think they may have exceded daily withdrawel amount so could not use ATM card that time at airport?

When living in USA I set up a daily withdrawel limit of $100 on my atm card in case anyone stole card thats all they could get. If I needed more could go into bank and $100 would tide me overnight. Later as I traveld I increased the limit because I needed more for shopping, restaurants and other cash needed reasons.

Bleeding heart. If you don't understand foreign traveling, stay home watch TV and drink Irish whiskey.

  2. Well, you have some kind of income to have remain in Thailand, so, take that money and when you go home buy a RV. I lived in a Winneabago ( 2200$) and loved it, latter I bought a Southwind for 5,700 cash both ran great. Stay in RV parks, state parks, Wal-Mart parking lot etc.. Why are you depended on other people? Your a big boy and made decisions to come into a new culture, what's the difference going home? Gas is cheaper there, western food is cheaper. Yes, many things are cheaper here but when you average cost what you spend just as much here to live compared to what you would at home. Want work, try Labor Ready which pays cash each day. I worked there as a road flagger following the projects with my RV and always had work because I could travel with the company.

Its time to shake off lifestyle of Thailand and muster up.

  3. Only in Thailand, call a locksmith. Who paid the bill? Smash the window, drag his butt out check him for all of you concern citizens and lock his ass up for months. Sell the car. Is there any excuses I haven't heard yet from a Thai. I beep my horn at a drunk Thai in a pickup truck in SiSaKet who was waiting for his buddy with more beer from the 7-11 where they blocked 2 lanes of traffic.

He got out of the car kicked in my right door and I tried to get out an several Thai's blocked my smashed door so I couldn't exit, finally the cops came, and yea I was told to go and nothing happen to him Thai kindness.

Treat drunks with kitten gloves, what a joke.

  4. Why oh why oh why facepalm.gif does Thailand need 3 submarines? I just don't get it!

Maybe there really are things in this world that we not supposed to understand? blink.png ... and that only beer has the answer thumbsup.gif

I just can not find any historical evidence or future perceived military threat where such a military weapon system could ever be of use to the LOS.

The only current threat where a submarine would be of proven use(though a massive overkill) would be in covert sinking of Rohingya Migrant boats. Surely not? whistling.gif

If they navigate like they drive that's funny.

  5. Walk our the airport door ignoring all the taxi shills, turn right walk 30 meters to the taxi stand/hut.

Tell them where you are going, they write it down on a chit with the cost, 600 to Patong.

Info a little outdated , the taxi stand has moved and how the heck you manage 600thb to Patong ???

I arrived late from Bangkok and I got a taxi to Patong for 700b 10 days ago. He wanted 800 but you can try to bring down the price a little.

  6. I think they should build Casinos in ever village so the general who developed the idea can vacation in Japan with his gun and poor farmers will stop drinking and smoking because they will have no money. So, the economy may be better off because now the family unit will return because they'll have no extra income. The electric company will be richer because they will remain at home and watch more TV and increase the monthly bill. Rich get richer and the poor become poorer.

  7. This is the key challenge facing the government if it stays in power for the next two years. The economy and living standards have been deteriorating under Prayut's watch.

Therefore, the government should not only bring together rival politicians to promote reconciliation at a high level, the expected contribution these politicians would make would promote reconciliation at the grassroots level as well.

Boy, I thought my American politics were screwed up, Another BUSH, Clinton enough is enough. The statement above stating that under Mr. Prayut's watch Thailand is worst off, bullshit.

    1. Crackdown on corrupt police, great

    2. Drunks off the road, great.

    3. Issues of illegal businesses, blocking sidewalks, streets etc...

    4. Drug enforcement increase.

    5. Illegal workers and criminal tourist activities crackdown.

Blame him because juveniles drinking, shooting each other at universities, Yaba problem, minors drinking and driving motorbikes at age 8 on the road, teen pregnancies, taxi drivers mafia, what else can you blame on him when his attention should be on important issues as a PM. Do you the PM of UK takes time to deal with local issues, not. But, because the system here is broken from the top down into the local village leader he must deal with these issues until he purges those individuals who have caused the DETERIORATION of THAILAND. And bring back those responsible to reconcile, yea, nuts, they know the game they would be smarter and even set Thailand on a more backward path. Mr. Prayut's job has not been easy, but he has a positive, sincere direction for Thailand's future not the old school crooks. If they return, only in prison but that would waste money and cause problems. Like Al Capone, in prison but still had control.

It's a new world and Mr. Prayut is bringing Thailand into it. I hope with him and the Royal Princess, Thailand will succeed in the future on the world stage.
