  1. Hey, he is Thai so he knows what he is talking about
  2. no entry rules at this time, just bring money
  3. They are not changing a visa, they came in visa exempt and applied for a 90 day NoN O which after 60 days they could apply for a one year extension off of that Non O
  4. A renowned school in Sisaket Province was gripped by a shocking incident yesterday, as two young students in Mor 1 and Mor 2 engaged in a fatal altercation using a knife.
  5. don't forget the comdons
  6. Don't understand why you would want to Change to an OA visa when you already have an O with a re-entry permit, in September just apply for an extension while in Thailand, no one in their mind would ever want to change and O to an OA with the insurance requirements to obtain an O, or am I just missing something?
  7. how long is he planning on staying in Thailand,?
  8. If he entered on a foreign passport he probably has a 30 day visa exempt stamp which would require an extension if staying longer than 30 days, by leaving the country on the EU stamp and re-entering with the Thai passport he does not have to worry about any immigration issues
  9. your multiple entry availability expired on the expiration date of your visa which was May 12th, any other border crossing and you would have been given a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp
  10. I think the over stay issue would depend on when he entered Thailand originally, should have been given 60 days permission to day from date of entry, when he exited Thailand this voided his permission to stay unless he had a re-entry permit, and not even sure in his position if you could get a re-entry permit
  11. You are right on the expired visa, but then they should have let him in visa exempt
  12. Need to see your permission to stay stamp in passport
  13. What date is stamped into your passport for permission to stay
  14. I think you are confused about people wanting to cancel their OA visa by leaving the country an re-entering visa exempt to obtain an O visa within Thailand. If you are on an O visa, or extension of that O, there would be no reason to have to cancel it
  15. just have the wife register the room in her name, if they ask for passport tell them you don't have it with you
  16. I wen through somewhat of the same situation, OA visa then extensions for six years, got to the border and they were making an issue out of my expired re-entry permit, one of the Cambodian Immigration people took care of everything for me, for a few of course, they did the visa, in and out same day and I think I had to pay them 2000 baht, think I could have just walked across the border and saved some money, but my only interest was getting the OA canceled and gladly payed the fee this was in September of 2022
  17. Pong Nom Ron and Ban Pakkard are the same border
  18. you better check again, two months for an extension, same day for applying for a non O visa within Thailand
  19. I think your confusion is that he is not applying for an extension but an O visa in country, my guess you already had a visa of some type when you arrived in Thailand originally
