never touched the 800,000, and Immigration never questioned it, I have had 65,000 coming in for a few years. If I was someone that was switching over I would not touch the 800,000 until I received my extension using the 65,000 baht method.
When changing from the 800,000 baht to the 65,000 baht most Immigration offices will require you to have had 12 consecutive deposits of no less than 65,000 baht and must show that it came from a foreign source
everyone here is paying tax daily, VAT 7%, this adds up very fast, no way is your country ever going to let you pay taxes on pensions in Thailand and not on the country where it originates, dream on
I will be getting my monthly SS deposit tomorrow and it will be at least 4,000 baht more than last month, what are you transferring, 20,000 baht a month?
have a Bangkok Bank account, I get one statement at six months and one at twelve months, that way no waiting for BKK Bank Headquarters one year statement
you forgot to factor in all of the deductions allowed, yes I realize that the tax rate gets higher quicker, but nothing was factored in the post saying you would have to pay $17,000 dollars tax
