  1. My workplace provided insurance included suicide ...........
  2. When you were posting as NowNow (2 years back) you didn't have a woman/wife.
  3. Clearly cycling, pony rides, crossing the road, swimming and any drinking alcohol while on holiday will invalidate your holiday insurance. Don't even think about having sex on holiday!
  4. Husband and wife both MPs seems a little corrupt.
  5. Buy it, my Neta v is amazing, had it 8 months and zero problems. Purchased mine 2 years old with 24k on the clock for 220kbht. Wasn't confident at the time, buying a car with the original company gone, but no regrets so far. Just had it's 30k service for 1,600bht.
  6. Same as the UK then, immigration never used to list citizens leaving the country.
  7. Hopefully he'll have a Thai marriage extension, so he'll be treated as a Thai citizen. Small fine, and random drug testing for a year. Jail if he fails one of the random tests. Wonder if the police tested his Thai wife?
  8. Use your Thai debit card in the ATM at your Viet arrival airport. Take some Thai Baht or US dollars as backup. I always took Thai 5x 1,000bht notes.
  9. But there is no way (I can see) to link your Passport to your unique Identity. My Thai driving license, my Thai bank card and my Thai address have no connection to my UK bank or my UK address in any UK government database. Only the name is connected, and in my case there are over 100,000 other guys with the same name as me living in the UK (John Smith).
  10. OP told them he had been out of the country for months.
  11. Not sure they have any way to connect your 'renewed in Vietnam passport' to your UK Bank or NHS or UK address. Unless you paid with your UK card registered at your UK address, and even then, it's only a maybe. Quite a few pay for their passports with an agents card, or a UK relatives card.
  12. No women on this forum, The occaisonal man (usually Australian) pretending to be a woman though.
  13. Almost nobody on this planet is my equal. Man or woman, no intimidation here, and no lack of confidence. As for a true man, That's any guy that doesnt have sex with other men, even if the other men pretend they are women.
  14. Pretty Lethal Slasher movie featuring a troop of ballerinas Bait Season 1 out, Odd series about an out of work actor and James Bond.
  15. I've never had a passport, so I can't show any pages. I live in the UK and have never left it in the past 17 years.
  16. First, who can snoop? I doubt it's the NHS Second, split your UK bank account from your purchases. If your UK bank account can only see transfers to WISE, what is there to snoop on?
  17. Been here 17 years and never bothered. Passport at home, no copies. Nobody has ever asked to see it beyond visits to banks and immigration.
  18. Never let your bank or government know where you are or what you are doing! It's not their business.
  19. I used a pal in the UKs address to open an account with Hargreaves Lansdown, moved a pension into cash with them, and didn't invest at all, just cash deposit with drawdown each year until it was gone. HL is the one and only company that didn't try to steal from my pension.
  20. My thoughts, Transferring your protected pension fund in the UK to any organisation outside the UK is madness. The foreign advisors are ALL crooks working illegally in foreign countries. They will mercilessly churn your funds and invest in bankrupt companies giving them backhanders. Not to mention the UK pension companies only accept UK credit checks as proof of ID. Name of Isipp provider and country , along with name of managemant firm and country, and financial advisor and country all relevant. General con game is to split all 3 to 3 different countries so you have no legal recourse after your pension money is stolen. For example, IFA in Thailand (crook if not Thai), Management in UK, and ISIPP in Isle or Man = no recourse in law.
  21. Customers get to use a resorts facilities, that's totally normal. This isn't a private residence.
  22. Don't think a video of him taking his deposit back counts as stealing.
  23. Don't VFS hand you a receipt with a list of the enclosed documents when you apply. They certainly did when I applied earlier this week.
  24. The old Thai 'you've damaged the bike, and it needs repairs that are 3x it's value' scam. At least the guy got his deposit back. I knew a guy in CM that owned a m/c rental shop, he used to boast that he made far more in repairs, then he did in rentals to foreigners. He had a guy on staff that just sprayed over scratched panels that cost almost nothing.
