  1. I have no route to citizenship, so I can't be an immigrant. I have permission to stay for another 11 months. It's as easy as that.
  2. Half the shops in town are still closed. Walk down moonmung soi 1 and loi Kroh, many bars and restaurants closed and shuttered, most of the open places completely empty of customers.
  3. Would point out the local Amphur sends people door to door to collect garbage collection fees. They will accept money from anyone for any address. They collected our money last month, 360bht for 1 year.
  4. Fan is fine. Last month electric bill= 160bht
  5. PA insurance from the Thai 'green' bank.
  6. Tell your friend, nurses like tips, 100bht goes a long way. Last month I was seen almost instantly in A&E, obviously they treat life or death illness first. Screaming in pain and bleeding on the floor get instant treatment.
  7. I had insurance, broke my jaw in an accident, insurance refused to pay (claimed it was cosmetic so not covered), I've never had insurance since (except to comply with Thai law). It's saved me a lot of money.
  8. There is no excuse for harming another human being. And the only civilised response to murder is jail for life. No need to even listen to excuses. Deliberately harm another person = jail Deliberately kill another person = jail for life End of!
  9. The answer is to use less electricity and fuel. Get out of those SUVs and buy a Honda Click (50Km+ per litre). Get your shopping delivered (MakroPro very easy, Lotus almost impossible for foreigners) Turn off those Air-cons, get yourself some fans and solar panels.
  10. I was in the public ward of a government hospital, I had my phone, internet, HBO Go and headphones. There was a 7-11 in the hospital and you could order through the 7-11 app, and they'd bring it to your hospital bed. Sadly I was too ill to bother with any of that.
  11. Shortly to be nicknamed the Tesla Clust***uck.
  12. Well Dick, from your posts I have concluded you're entirely ordinary, and probably fit in very well with the average Thai males. Interesting that you think it's Ok to murder people to whom you've taken a dislike.
  13. Last month a Thai university lecturer tried to murder me because he was having a bit of a bad day. My limited iq is 140+.
  14. I doubt many Thais have an understanding of any topic. As for Thai undergrads ...... Almost all female, cos the guys can't be bothered. And I've interacted with many Thai female undergrads, my wife being one of them, and my daughter another.
  15. Have you ever spoken with Thais? They are clearly unable to understand the simplest concepts. As for your white supremacists manipulating the results, I doubt they would have judged Jews as having the highest IQs.
  16. That's the average IQ for white western people. Thais have a lower average, Cambodians are even lower.
  17. They gotta hand out the 10kbht before they even think about cannabis. I suspect no new cannabis laws will ever be passed. Prevaricate and delay until everyone moves on is always the best way to go.
  18. No choice, all my income is taxed at source by the UK government. Tax returns are not required as I only have pensions.
  19. I grew blue dream, THC was so low, it was not worth smoking.
  20. Very safe if your worries are petty crime. Extremely dangerous for RTAs.
  21. Yeah, you're right ....... but only if you're sentenced. If no sentence they pay you the money on release. But still better than a nursing home IMHO.
  22. I didn't say that at all. The police have been looking for me (on and off) for the past 15 years, so I've always hidden my finances from my UK bank account (assuming the police will get a look at it). It's not hard to hide you just use a money moving service between your UK bank and where it's going. Which means the authorities need multiple court orders to track your money movements, and they're just too lazy to bother for anything but major crimes. The trick to dealing with any/all UK authorities, waste as much of their time and resources as you can, never admit anything, always force them to take you to court. They don't have the time, the money, or the interest to take court action against everyone. And in the end, prison isn't that bad a place for a homeless pensioner, it's warm, has a library and the meals are regular ........ not to mention free dental and health care. An finally, UK state pension isn't paid to you while you're in prison, they keep it in a holding account then you get it all in a lump sum when you get out. Better rules than a nursing home, where they sell your house then keep and spend your pension.
  23. You're missing the point! UK banks cancel the accounts of Brits living overseas. There is no information for the DWP to see.
