  1. ........ Chalalai’s lack of experience with transwomen due to her previous marriage to a man ........
  2. It's my right as a man to be a woman. Back on topic, Having read the full story carefully ..... It appears the American man likes to dress as a woman, and the Thai is a woman ...... so not a same sex marriage, but a heterosexual couple.
  3. If I identify as a woman, are you trying to tell me I can't change my mind as often as I like?

Limestone coated waterfalls are very rare, in the world there's 1 in Turkey, and the other in Chiang Mai. You walk down the steps to the bottom, then tie your flipflops around your neck and walk up the non-slip waterfall. Entry is free but you're only supposed to buy food from the onsite vendors (which are fairly cheap), although many visitors take picnics and the no outside food rule doesn't appear to be enforced. Busy at weekends, deserted weekdays.
  5. Mother is 4 months old and knows nothing. I made the nest from materials (fur and straw) provided by one of my other older rabbits when she was a bit broody.

Huay Keow waterfall and park is worth a look for an hour or two, park at the Buddha (Kruba Srivichai monument) just after the Zoo, walk through the flower shops and into the park. Wang Bua Ban (3km further up the road) is a nice spot for a swim in a waterfall. After the parking spaces, walk down, turn left before the sala and carefully walk down the steep narrow trail for the best swimming hole. Wat Umong underground shrine and fish feeding island another place worth exploring, just off Suthep road.

Rajdarbar Indian restaurant in Loi Kro is pretty decent, about 220bht for a curry and Naan. Auf Der Au German buffet breakfast is worthwhile 230bht for all you can eat (inc tea and coffee). Day trip, Sticky Waterfall (50km up the 1001) is the must see destination (one of only 2 in the world).
  8. My local breeder messaged me, wanted to sell me 2 female rabbits (4 months old), so I went to get them. This morning there were baby rabbits scattered across the ground. 6 are alive and I've gathered them up and put them in a nest I made. Pushed a rabbit hut and cage together. I know nothing about baby rabbits!
  9. Thai Vs Thai lots of justice (but not as we know it). Thai Vs Foreigner (not much justice for the foreigner). Just look at the other story foreigner stabbed in leg by Thai gf, foreigner investigated. Just my opinion, I try to avoid all conflicts .........
  10. I'm actually OK with transfers out of my bank account being limited. I'd suggest they lowered the limit to 5kbht. No need to participate in the FR service.
  11. Friday just after lunch, was driving around the moat in torrential rain. By the time I hit the middle ring (6km) it was dry and sunny.
  12. I doubt a Thai insurance company would refuse a claim from a Thai policeman, no matter what the cause of the damage.
  13. Thai policeman hits Thai wife in head with hammer ....... no charge, no crime committed. Foreigner gets stabbed by Thai gf .......... foreigner investigated by Thai police. Ah well, at least there's no racism in Thailand!
  14. Heavy rain and thunder in San Sai for most of the night. It's amazing the difference 20km can make to the weather.
  15. But that would change an unsecured loan (no penalty if you default), into a secured loan.
  16. Never argue with anyone about anything when living in Thailand. I've found this a very good life rule to follow.
