The Trek was lighter and faster up hills. Everything on the Giant was heavier. Best to look at what's available in your size. Hardly any shops selling Giant in Thailand. I've had Giant and Trek, generally the Treks were better. Don't accept a smaller frame than the one you want, that smaller frame they have in stock and want to sell won't fit you.
