  1. UK Gravy is in Makro. Tea bags, best to buy on Lazada, 'Food Variety' usually have Typhoo Tea @99bht/100. Chocolate, again Lazada, just got some 'Fruit and Nut' from 'Food Variety' 150bht for 180gm bars.
  2. Found them on Google lens, Treehoppers ........ not harmful.
  3. How many tourists in Thailand do you think rent cars? Most rent a scooter without a license so they're breaking the law anyway. And why is it your business? Troll on!
  4. I purchased a Huawei Matepad T10" (4gb + 64gb wifi only) for 4,300bht from Lazada Price keeps jumping around, but for the money well worth it if you can live without Google/Facebook. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2351218752-s15578405312.htm The other choice was Alldocube kPad 10.4 for 5,000bht which has everything https://www.lazada.co.th/products/alldocube-kpad-android11-104-ram4gb-rom64gb-4g-6000mah-i2839093537-s10361269923.html
  5. Hard to understand how any hospitals could get clogged up from MJ usage. As far as I can see there's no downside to cannabis tourism. They all pay for flights, hotels, food and drinks. So Thailand profits from them all.
  6. That isn't how tourism works. As Queen Victoria used to say 'make every country England'
  7. I did a transfer yesterday morning 'for long term stay in Thailand', it was in my BKB account by 2pm.
  8. I've had ZERO success with Thai purchased seeds. It just wastes my time and distracts me from growing hybrid plants from western sources.
  9. Not cheap,Attitude Seedbank (UK) are selling KC Brain seeds for 5.99GBP a 5 pack. Add on the 10 quid postage and it's still cheaper. I ordered KC Brains Choice, KC Brains Escape and KC Bahia Blackhead 15 seeds for 27 pounds delivered to Thailand.
  10. This is my worst hybrid, dried and 10gm, I won't be growing Cheeselicious again.
  11. I walk around my garden picking up the trash my kids and woman have chucked every day. I can see the French ladies POV, 5 minutes clearing up around the place you want to sit/swim makes sense to me.
  12. I really wouldn't expect this sort of thing to happen on a luxury resort island. My (her) moobaan house, in fact the entire moobaan of 250 houses, outside Chiang Mai has zero theft problems since it was built 10 years back. We don't even lock the doors or shut the windows unless it looks like rain. Odd that the neighbours didn't report the guy on the m/c coming and going, my neighbours would be all over it. The entire incident seems most unusual for Thailand IMHO.
  13. The answer is to drive in the UK on your Thai license and avoid all traffic fines as they don't bother to fine overseas visitors for minor traffic offences.
  14. Or you could buy one ready made for 56Kbht https://www.lazada.co.th/products/nmc-48v-246ah-125742kw-smart-bms-i3540994257-s13213589046.html OK, so it's Lithium, but it's also half the price. 16kwhr for 66Kbht https://www.lazada.co.th/products/48v-300ah-smart-bms-150300a-1585kw-i2554477759-s9087152255.html
  15. When I left Israel a few years back they kept my suitcase for a longer inspection and sent it on a flight the next day. But I guess anyone can make a mistake. Wondering what a 'bullet magazine' is, would have imagined it was just an essentially harmless box shape bit of metal. Whatever the offense, 18 months seems a bit harsh considering you can kill a policeman and get away with no sentence at all. (both Red Bull and that drunk Thai lady)
  16. And yet, frozen chips are up from 99bht to 165bht in Makro. Which would make chip inflation 65% in Thailand. (Oddly enough, potato prices remain unchanged)
  17. So I need to move countries because the west has gone mad? Actually I have, but chose Thailand over Afghanistan. (apart from the vote, essentially the same rules as Afghanistan) Presumably, by the same reasoning, you should return to the UK.
