  1. I've been banging away for 14+ years without a condom. Most don't ask, and when those that do ask get told 'no repeat hires', they always change their minds.
  2. I've never told anyone my business, not even my woman. I never show my passport or allow it to be seen by civilians. When back in the UK I deny I have a passport to everyone, not their business. The trick to being a criminal, is to not speak to anyone about it. I don't even give out my real name. You'd have to be stupid to let anyone know you were breaking any rules of any kind. So your 'knowingly harbouring' is in effect nonsense.
  3. Usually they expect the man they sleep with to pay. Sounds like you've never lived with a woman. As for disease, I always take us both for a HIV test before moving her in. All the other disease risks are trivial, and you could catch them from any woman who wasn't a virgin.
  4. If friends come to stay with you, do you first ask to see their passport, check their Visa, then report to immigration? What about a girl that sleeps over, do you check she's a Thai citizen, etc.? How about motoring offences, do you report pals you see, drink driving, speeding, tax, ins, dl? Once you start being a nark, where do you draw the line?
  5. So far, Cambodia is easy, stay as long as you like, did need $25 to enter. Philippines is easier, 30 days on arrival, stay for 3 years. Vietnam, very easy for Brits, 14 days on arrival. Laos was easy, did need $25 to enter. Malaysia really easy, 3 months on arrival. China was easier than expected, but I did need to apply for $25 VISA in advance. I don't consider Thailand as easiest in the world for tourists.
  6. This sounds a bit excessive.
  7. Amoxicillin may not be the best antibiotic to use. Swelling and pain normally goes down within the first 24hrs if it's working. You shouldn't be waiting a week, especially in this case where it appears not to be working.
  8. The most famous UK case ............ https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/gangster-kenneth-noye-spared-jail-27125524
  9. Same in Thailand and many other countries.
  10. Part 3 will be a news item about a street vendor stabbing a foreigner to death for not paying his bill.
  11. But it's years out of date and many of the places he mentions closed at COVID and never reopened.
  12. Thought it was written by Homer Simpson, and he was American.
  13. "Isaan hard to like after 3 months" OP is clearly a 'hard man', I only managed 3 nights near Korat before I ran away to Pattaya. Hotter than hell, the only meat in the market was chicken feet, and no Sour cheese and onion LAY in the 7-11 which was a 15Km drive away.
  14. San Sai ........... not quite enough pressure when it works, but off for the day several times a month.
  15. I'm not sure international news is that important to most people. And as nearly everything in the media is manipulated propaganda of some sort, there's probably not all that much reason for anyone to want to see any of it. Back to the OP, The same applies to history.
  16. You need a Government Gateway account where you can sort out all your income tax and claim refunds online. https://www.gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services
  17. I didn't know anyone in the UK who could speak a foreign language. And French/German/Spanish in UK schools was a joke, I know I used to teach French and German.
  18. Try, If you use your money to buy a computer, you can choose. If you use my money to buy a computer, I choose. It's really easy. In my home I choose everything I pay for (obviously items over 500bht).
  19. They don't know their own history either. But I suspect few western people know anything of Asian history either.
  20. They changed every time I went, but the bars you can't look in without entering were always the most fun. I always stayed at the Phuminh Hotel (was a different name when I went), nice rooftop swimming pool and cocktail bar. Right near the riverside park and entertainment streets. The Ohana also looks good (2 pools?) but I haven't stayed there.
  21. 130 and 136 street are full of bars with pretty girls. Near the top end of Riverside Park. Load 'Pass' app on your phone before you go, it's very cheap and they will collect from the airport.
  22. Now you've mentioned soapy, I think Sayuri and PingPayom are still open. Take your pals to have a few beers while watching the fishbowl.
  23. You can't, daily limit for electronic transfers is 50kbht, I know as I tried it with Bangkok Bank app today.
