I've been here 16 years and never had any of these problems or negative feelings. If I didn't like it here, I would leave. Yesterday, weather was fine, went out cycling 20km along rural roads, bought moo ping and sticky rice for breakfast from a roadside stall (30bht), out to a bar with a pal in the evening small Leo (80bht), then Tacos at La Casita (180bht), then live music in the Moat house with a small Leo (100bht), life was good. Today, weather is fine, a pal is just about to call round and we'll go out and have coffee, maybe walk round the local lake or play table tennis ....... as an old guy, life is amazing nearly everyday in Chiang Mai. No dual pricing in my life!

In the west the biggest screen I owned was 40" (Pioneer plasma early 2000s) Now in Thailand I have 75" Back in the west I had most of the available toys, but time has moved on and more toys are now available in Thailand. Big tv, solar power, electric MTB, smartphones, tablets, Kindle, 10TB usb drives, none of those available when I was living in the west (including warm weather, frequent sex and a much younger wife).

I'd suggest the Clintons, Bidens and Kamala were the causes of their downfall. Nobody wanted them as president, so maybe choose better candidates, and choose well in advance.

Yes, I keep rabbits. One bit me and the vet asked if I wanted rabies vaccine. It doesn't have rabies, it's just forgotten it's prey, and is a bit bitey. Anyways, at 70 I've got to die of something, I doubt it'll be rabies. Odd how so many men are frightened of disease and worship doctors and big pharma. I frequently attend Auf Der Au German buffet breakfast in Chiang Mai (250bht). Lots of sausages and ham, lots of different dark breads, no fried or scrambled eggs or bacon. I like the fried fish in breadcrumbs as well. Here's one I ate earlier ........
