    Best to either bring your own, or better to have lived here a few months first. Back in the UK I spent all my time (and spare money) on hifi, here for some reason it just doesn't seem worthwhile. Having extremely restricted access to women backs most of us in the western 'hobby corner'. Here we get different hobbies.

    Bring enough for your VISA/extension and a year's worth of living expenses. No guarantee you can stay in Thailand, or get your money in the bank back if you had to leave in a hurry.

    Every woman is the wrong woman, you just need to take a few precautions so they can't take too much at their end game. Their genetic imperative is to change sperm donors regularly and breed with variety of men. Essentially no woman is ever satisfied having sex frequently with just one man. Once you move in and become a couple, the frequency of sex reduces, and they're looking around.

    I swear by norfloxacin 400, 1/2 tab morning and evening for the first 10 days of every month until it's fixed. Obviously there's the risk of ligament damage for those susceptible.

    They might be able to flag your next use of passport, but they certainly can't find out where you are or where you were if you don't cross any new borders. The police were still looking for me by checking known address and associates in the UK for at least 3 years after I had left the UK.

    It's not as if it's harder or more expensive to grow weed than any other crop, a kilo of potatoes retails for 50bht, no reason for 1-2ozs of weed to cost any more. 200-300bht/GM is foreign tourist prices, the Thais don't pay anywhere near that. Eventually all weed in Thailand will be sold at a max 50bht/gm.

    There are no requirements for renting anywhere in Thailand, apart from having the money they want. If you encounter a landlord that's problematic, just rent somewhere else.
