  1. You really lack any sense of humor. When is the last time you have caused a laugh or even a polite smile. It's OK dude - life probably can't get anymore depressing than this state your in. Cheers 🙂
  2. No but did put in 6.6kWh of solar today. Want to get my feet wet but it should be enough to power my home 90% and I'll get the remainder from the grid. All this home solar and EV stuff is new to me so I'm crawling along. If all goes well with this install, I could easily add more capacity to charge an EV. Haven't crunched the numbers yet and waiting to see how much electricity from the new panels is actually producing. My roof isn't ideally positioned for panels but I have lots of space and panels are cheap.
  3. News to me. Please explain.
  4. Wow, you just answered your own prior question. Many options?????
  5. Yep, I would have tended to agree just 5 years ago. I have found the one in a billion. She is the sexiest person I've ever been with and there have been 200-400 🙂 I don't count but that is my wild guess. I'm not going to share a picture of her in a bikini but she is flawless and her body isn't her best physical quality. So my opinion is very biased and I know that the odds of this happening twice are non-existent. She seems to live to make me happy and somehow knows what I want before I do. OK, stop puking and I will stop blathering... In around 20 years we will be ~78 and I can't imagine not loving her the same. Shtt- said I would stop blathering 🙂
  6. Think there may be some obvious options you have missed 🙂 Think about it...
  7. How is that funny? It is grammatically incorrect just as many thing I state here and Definately you. You really are a bore.
  8. 7,000k a year which is why the cost comparison is closer. If I was driving 15,000 like my wife's family that all now own EVs it would be larger. Her sister's husband was spending around 25k (If I remeber right-50k one month last year) a month on gas! He bought a small EV SUV and is saving ~15k a month. Lots of money for a middle class Thai. Now they drive even more and act as if it is free which it kinda is 🙂 I'm the boring type of driver that is rarely in a hurry to get somewhere. I do take long trips once or twice a year. There are only two of us so no need for a big car. I would miss being able to throw-in construction items into the truck bed but a minor issue.
  9. Always unknowns but ultimately you have to pull the trigger. It's all about probabilities of an outcome when it comes to my car purchases.
  10. Yep, I always buy used because cars for me are to serve a purpose. Used cars serve that purpose at a cheaper cost.
  11. Well what about those that have little concern about appearance or love for ICE cars? I just want to get from point A to B in comfort in the cheapest manner. Not a concern you share but you also much more money than this pauper. Do you think EV's can be the best option for those that don't care if the car is ICE or an EV and just want the lowest cost per kilometer traveled?
  12. Whatever makes you happy as long as you aren't hurting anyone in the process. Younger women just don't do it for me. Been with many but for me it is finding the extremely rare woman that is near my age and I find irresistible is what excites me. Takes a huge effort and a lot of luck! I seem to have loads of luck and had tons of spare time.
  13. Yeah my cars never seem to have issues. Never! With that said, I will be buying an electric car for my next car. They just make too much economic sense at this point IMO and the gap is growing every year. To have bought an electric car last year would have been a terrible investment as of today but if kept for 5-10 years it isn't an issue. Many EV owners don't really seem concerned at losing ~200k baht on paper.
  14. Why is it that hot women work at 7-11? The ones that are professional and cheerful are so sexy but I never try to converse. At 57 maybe I don't want to look like a perve. You seem to not like old people that don't behave how you would like them to.
  15. They seem to be doing OK. The economy is struggling a little but that could happen regardless of Covid. One odd thing I noticed around Ubon was that the locals were flush with cash when it came to building homes and home improvements. Not sure how the liquidity was added but it was crazy busy around here with new houses popping up everywhere.
  16. If it were true ( might be) Couldn't you replace soldiers with people on a holiday. Viruses spread and do you think the Spanish flu would have not been an issue if the soldiers didn't travel to Spain. Now if those soldier's were near a laboratory that was replicating dangerous viruses and passed a virus they accidently got from the lab....
  17. "I was going to start my post with "on reflection". Then I realised that's what you are looking at." Hmm, I think you are trying to use the joke that has been used to boredom but somehow messed it up. Let me help you insult me: I was going to start my post with "on reflection" but I realized what you would be looking at. Still not funny but you get the point. Your version is like the unfunny kid trying too hard to be funny and failing miserably. Your welcome 🙂
  18. Maybe I mistakenly misread your last statement as a jibe. My bad if that was the case. As for you mentioning what you would have done. I never stated you mentioned what you would have done. I simply asked what you would have done. I've been in situations that are frightening and in the moment and have acted appropriately. Once 30 years ago, I didn't and it all ended well but I beat myself up for being a coward. Probably been other situations but none come to mind. Why I mentioned myself you ask. To give context to my statement. I'm practically a senior citizen and would pounce quickly on a scrawny kid stabbing a girl with a knife. I assume you would do the same. I'm rambling 🙂 I concede, he is a hero by todays standards but I think most on this thread would have done the same in the same situation. I guess most of us are heroes that only need the opportunity to be heroic.
  19. That's what I thought. I asked on this thread if over paneling was an issue but at the time nobody responded. I should have gone with at least 2 more panels but can add more easily later. I usually only have 1 AC on at one time that usually hums along drawing 8oo watts mid day. my exercise room when in use draws about 2000 watts for a couple hours so might not have enough panels (6.6kWh) for that on a cloudy day. I'm cool with using the grid also. My goal is to be 85%-99% off the grid.
  20. Cute, deflect and trying to use big words. Adorable... You are a bigot using any definition of the word. Stop being such a disgusting individual and show ethics. The manner that you interact with groups you disagree with is usually an accurate reflection of who you are more than them. Being a bigot is not a something to be proud of as you seem to be. I give you the benefit of the doubt and feel you are too dense to grasp your own bigotry.
  21. No just a 75 kilo dude in good shape. What are you going on about. So if you were faced with a skinny kid that was talking to himself that proceeded to stab a girl and you were a security guard, you would have been unable to help? Doesn't take a special forces to handle this situation. Sounds like you would have just watched. That's OK but fortunately 99% of security guards are not like you. The security guard in this case handled the situation admirably from the little we know.
  22. They are here now and only brought a frame for 6 side by side. Is there an issue with having a 5 meter gap between two groups of 3 panels on the same string? I can cut the frame at welder right now so they have a gap.
  23. They are here now- thanks
  24. Advanced Member Precisely, Trump supporters, both foreign and domestic. ______________________________ So all Trump supporters are ignorant and bigots? Do you even grasp the idiocy of that statement you made? Grow up... Grap the solar installers are early- got to go. March on being a bigot.
  25. He was a security guard and a sketchy individual was in the place he was securing. I'm not saying I would have anticipated what happened without knowing any details but just saying he didn't secure the place. He did a spectacular job after the the stabbing from the little info we have. You are determined to make him a hero when you really know VERY little of the situation. You seem a little racist to be honest. If he was white would you feel the same. IMO, from what i know, he should get a pay bump and a few days off. He looks to be unharmed with not even slight injuries from subduing a skinny crazy dude with a knife. At 57 I could do that with no problem 99% of the time.
