Then you go on to say you have no dog in the fight. Pathetic... BTW, hasn't Joe had his best 5 months ever in regards to veiwers?

How are you so sure he is giving ordinary people false hope? I think the USA has had an icredible run the last decade while most the world struggled. Should he be telling people that the USA ( most the world) is in a debt spiral and we might not be able to kick the can down the road for much longer? Just my opinion and I realise I could be wrong but your absolute knowledge is silly. You are old enough to realise you are full of it. Do you remember all the wars and starvation during your lifetime? When an airline crashes and 2 people die, it goes viral today. Life is good dude and Trump's presidency will pass.

His life revolves around politics in the same way some follow sports teams as a child. As a youg child, when the Dallas Cowboys would lose, I would be a wreck until the next game. Hard to fathom this behaviour in an older man. He really thinks his team has to win and the world will end if it loses. Weird....

Who is to blame for the cost of education? I Aggree, education has become outrageuously expensive and a difficult obstacle to overcome. Many young are killing it in this new brave world while others are floundering because society can now afford to support their non-productive lifes. Young now have a choice to do nothing and survive and many do this and live misserable lifes.

Not sure where you are going with this? Google "fun". As for your kids, they have it pretty good compared to your generation. I could make an argument that they have it too easy and that creates missery. Hey, I don't like Trump as a person but the odds of him creating challenges your kids can't ovrcome is inconsquential.

What would happen if Anern 6.5k inverter went down?
atpeace replied to atpeace's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
I think I understand what you are describing and I don't have a breaker now. Could you look at the drawing update. Put my solar sytem together with a guy that installs solar for pond pumps. It has been working great but we probably missed some safety components. All I would need to do is add the breaker and I could use the knife switch to switch to grid? Thanks! -
What would happen if Anern 6.5k inverter went down?
atpeace replied to atpeace's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
That would be a easy for my electrician to hook up but would it work in hybrid mode because the connection to the grid would be turned off. I have rarely used hybrid (been months) so maybe still would be a good solution. If the handle is verticle would both the inverter and the grid be usable? Is the hookup order correct in my drawing? -
I was reading aother thread recently and a person was having trouble with his 2 inverter setup. I only have my one Anern inverter and was wondering if anybody had any experience with their inveter going down. I can't find the documentation in the manual but was hoping it would still pass through AC current from the grid which many inverters seem to do. After going solar, my electric usage has sky rocketed and a sytem shutdown would be a major pain in the butt with all the new wells, water pumps, pool, ice bath, exercise room ... Never imagined I would ever need more than 6.5 kw at my small home but I will soon enough and would rather only buy one new 10kw inverter. Another option would be a on/off switch before the inverter so the grid would be used exclusively if the inverter failed. Has anyone installed such a switch?

Solar cell off grid installation problems
atpeace replied to Peterphuket's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Buy the new inverter and have someone local install it. I assume the batteries are LifePo4 and if 48v, you have already sunk quite alot into your solar setup. Our electric consumption is about the same( my electric bill would be about 3-4k). I use th same Anern inverter brand as BritmanToo and have had no issues. It produces 6.5kw and can handle 8.5 kw of solar. It cost 13k. Recomendation and I'm far from an expert 🙂 * Run your hot water heaters from the grid. Only cost about 100 baht a month and eliminates the need to have a huge inverter. Togther my hot water heaters can draw 7,000 watts! -
Tiny Pool finished and perfect for my needs. Building a mew exercise room next to it and shoukld be finished this week. This will be the best hot season I've experienced in 20 years! Below are some pics.

I aggree but not being allowed to discuss other options is OK? Would we have needed the vaccines if the world population wasn't so terribly unhealthy? The odds of me dieing of Covid was basically zero.

Hmm, are you describing Covid deaths? 🙂

This forum for me has been a great source for information pertaining to Thailand going on 20+ years. Some of the most hated posters are the most popular and entertaining IMO. The only issue I have is with AN was during Covid and its policy to restrict certain opinions. I see no reason now to restrict certain posters. Is it really that difficult to roll a mouse past posts that aren't interesting.

Shorts, no shoes nor shirt while at home. I also did run shirtless but now living in the NE vs beach areas, I wear a tangtop during runs. Quality shorts and t-shirts when outside the house and only pants when going out for dinner or a party. Thais IMO could care less if you are wearing pants or shorts while shoping or any casual setting. Thinking that they repect you more because you are wearing pants at 7 Eleven compared to nice clean casual shorts is more than likely just a weird story you convinced yourself to believe.

Thailand Faces Severe Air Pollution Crisis as PM2.5 Levels Soar
atpeace replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Plain surgical masks filter most of PM 2.5 and only about 1/3 less affective than M95 masks. Dpending on the study the numbers might differ a little. Telling people they aren't effective would be a terrible idea IMO. Telling them to use them but opt for an M95 if possible would be the right communication.
