  1. Is there a recommended back (lumbar) specialist at this hospital or in the Isaan region? Thanks
  2. My mate is having trouble with FB. 'For violating community standards your account has been restricted for 48 or 24 hours'. But he doesn't know what he did wrong or how to fix the problem. Any ideas?
  3. I contacted Schneider Electrics Australia and they said there is only the RCCB 3 phase DIN connector type. There must be a reason Schneider make the plug-in module CU, they make a 3 phase plug-in MCB, but not a 3 phase RCCB. Placed back in the 'In Hand' basket.
  4. Yep. So I could maybe install 6 Plug-in RCBO's or make up 2 DIN boxes with DIN RCCB's. Not as nice as finding the correct Plug-in. Explanation: I have two 3 phase multi-point instant hot water services. They are wired as per installation instructions both earthed. I'm slowely replacing breakers I think should be earth leakage trip and would like to replace the 3 phase MCB's for the water heaters.
  5. Yes I realise it's a DIN mount, but I want the breaker with a plug in mount as in the pic. Thanks. I can't seem to find the RCCB with a plug-in mount, though there are 3 phase breakers with plug-in mounts, but can't find a RCCB.
  6. Me too. Sometimes the page loads after a few attempts, other times does not load. What's the problem or fix?
  7. I'm looking for two A9Z21425 Acti9 ilD 4P 25A RCCB's. Sompar company is looking for me, but no success at the moment. My Consumer Unit is the Schneider plug-in type. Anyone know where I might get these breakers?
  8. Yes sorry. I was thinking 'comparison'. I was wrong.
  9. Good on the engineers
  10. What's this 'arc flashing' thinggy? In the villages they pull the meter leads out all the time and just leave them floating in air. Probably see it more, up country at the moment as trucks navigate low power lines to collect sugar cane and crops. A rusty, half bladed screwdriver, empty paint can to stand on, small breakfast 90 degree) out come the leads. Never seen an 'arc flash' in the village (though I've seen a few huge flashes in a large 5 HF 250 KW transmitting site. When the DC to those huge electron tubes had a problem...meltdown. Coronas or Plumes used to form from the antennas to dragonflies etc. You could see this intense lightning from the antenna to space and music sound coming from the spot). No worries. But always my buddies to pull the leads here. :)
  11. Illegal wiring in Pattaya condos has been going on for years. Bankok owners just visiting for a weekend, power has been disconnected, just temp. Run power for their visit. Condos must have such a high chance of catching on fire due to all these suspect electrical re-configutes. 3 meters for 1 condo, equates to the mindset of the managers. Spread that over the whole condo. Death traps. Have you ever checked your fire escape, right to the outside road? I bet a clear path doesn't exist. Check it in the evening when the fire escape doors are locked.
  12. Would you ever, ever, ever thought of Ping Pong showes? Thais are smart. :)
  13. Lazada has decaf coffee. So does the Indochina market at Mukdahan. :)
  14. Chinese police are great. As part of a Beijing HASH run, us motley mob ended up outside the Forbidden City and had a circle formed with the usual beer drinking and some dressed in Tutu's. Then Tiamin Square had a problem with groups. The Chinese police politely said we would be arrested if we "ran" into the Forbidden City. All very nice. They let us carry on a bit, then we left. All very nice and friendly.
  15. Refresh with vitamin L Leo. Still hot but last night cooler. Time to get the gas log fire ready. :) Nothing better than sitting around in front of the fire on a cold day.
  16. I think I got the name wrong...Thai Reader by Mary Hass. Tried to find it yesterday but I've put it somewhere special. :)
  17. I think the book is called 'Letters from Siam'. Many short stories all in Thai but extensive Thai/English cross references.
  18. Pattaya council just received an award for being the best on the planet. Some awards aren't very meaningful.
  19. Thing is you can see real time data as you are driving. (I used a mirror to get the scanner aligned with the socket. Better than head upside down under the dash). I try to buy a second hand car to use when I visit my home country. Last time I bought a Honda Jazz that the engine started cutting out. Bought the analyser but no codes showed up, which led to a clue that seemed to be complete lost of power to the unit, which could only be the computer. Replaced the computer, all OK. You really need a scanner for fault analysis.
  20. I think the digital future is going to be problamatic. Optus Aus meltdown recently is an example. Really we live in an analogue world. If you push something it moves...analogue, if you pull something it moves...analogue. Our body is works in an analogue world. A digital world is really a foreign world that everyone is pushing because of the speed. Analogue is natural where Digital is not. Our analogue body has many redundancies. Two eyes, 2 ears, 2 testicals, 2 legs, 2 arms. We can lose 1 of these and still function. In our digital world, if you stuff up a few 1s or 0s then your digital world is stuffed up. In an old 'real time' digital system data transfers had a parity bit. So a 64 bit word really had an extra parity bit so each data transfer had a final 'checksum' to check that the sent data was the same as the received data and not corrupted. They don't or didn't have parity checks with our modern computers. So with our push to make everything digital is causing pending disaster because when you have mega interconnected systems from analogue to digital back to analogue and not enough 'no break' power supplies, then there will be big problems. Fire away :)
  21. Brings back memories.
  22. My 2014 Honda CRV has the connector and I bought an analyser. Good investment.
