  1. Tried to search “sunscreen” across the whole of aseannow.com - 0 results found? Searched “aseanow sunscreen” on google - at least 8 different threads Really?
  2. Medisafe Pharmacy - can search them here, lots of good reports. Based in BKK but operate mostly online although they also schedule delivery “runs” where you can have your item delivered in person - Chiang Mai scheduled for 30 April. https://www.facebook.com/Medisafe.Pharmacy.Rama4 Have used several times with no problems.
  3. Relatively speaking it seems pretty strong for what was likely an innocuous event. And/or highlights the absurdity of some of the Covid policies still in place.
  4. Unfortunately I had the same experience - Line and FB messages that I sent all went unanswered so I called to make the initial arrangements. Subsequent deliveries arranged directly with the actual delivery guy for my building (Central Pattaya) through Line. Apparently they deliver to different areas of Pattaya on different days so see if you can get that clarified as it will make future deliveries easier to plan for.
  5. Immigration will on occasion pay an unannounced home visit - we read stories about this now and then - so I suppose that could be a risk, if they show up and your spouse clearly no longer resides with you. Likely will not happen, but it is a (small) risk nonetheless and should be planned for. Frankly, if you are still contemplating a separation at the time of your next extension, I would switch over to retirement presuming you can meet the additional requirements - why take a risk if things go south?
  6. Tastes good to me, no problems to date. Did not do a purity test, though.

  8. Felt a bit like late December this morning, quite nice.
  9. haha, people ask the most random of questions sometimes…I couldn’t even begin to contemplate, more less judge, whether or not it fits a 6l bottle. Maybe the pic will help?
  10. Agree. Or any kind of tendinitis in the Achilles - the culprit is often a lack of flexibility in calf muscles.
  11. I think there is little to no chance that it would impact the final decision, to be frank. I would be surprised if the consular officer gave it more than a passing glance, if that, on the day of the visa interview. But, if you are willing to go through the time and expense of acquiring such a bond (presuming it is even possible), I don’t see how it would negatively impact the visa application. So, can’t hurt but won’t help.
  12. Her life is f***** and presuming she sends money back to family in Myanmar, likely theirs is too (too some degree). We all know this, and it sucks. Stories like this are difficult reading ????
  13. Can’t help you with that one, though I suspect easily found on Lazada or Shoppee.
  14. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i1157680210-s2713170409.html?urlFlag=true&mp=1&spm=spm%3Da2o4m.order_details.item_title.1 Have had it for about a year, works great. Charges by USB.
  15. You are particularly wrong about the Red Cross (at least the American Red Cross): ”the American Red Cross, for example, uses less than 10% of its budget for administrative and fundraising expenses, therefore spending over 90% of its income on programs that benefit communities, according to Charity Navigator.” Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/nancyanderson/2017/12/17/3-websites-to-check-to-be-informed-before-giving-to-charity/?sh=3b73b65e13f5 https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/530196605 Great job on the donations you’ve made though, very generous of you and your friends ???? ????
  16. I’ve noticed that the anti-pot lock ‘em up brigade is suspiciously quiet…????
  17. I asked the Thai consulate in LA a similar question: ”I am planning a 3 week vacation to Thailand but have 2 questions before I commit: if I test positive for Covid upon arrival in Thailand, is a 10 day hospital (or “hospitel) stay mandatory? If yes, is a hospital/hospitel stay mandatory even if I am asymptomatic?” Their response: ”Q: What is the procedure in the event your COVID-19 swab test result returns as positive? A: If testing positive for COVID-19, travellers will be referred for appropriate medical treatment in accordance with Thailand’s Communicable Diseases Act B.E. 2558 (2015). • Pending on their conditions, they may be medically advised by to receive treatment in either hospital hotel isolation or community isolation. • During receiving the medical treatment – at least 10 days, they must remain in their accommodation only. They should not leave their accommodation unless utmost necessary, and must notify the Communicable Disease Control officer in-charge. • After having recovered from COVID-19, they will receive a medical certificate of recovery. Kindly note that the expenses must be covered by the required insurance / own expense for foreign travellers, or national healthcare coverage for Thais and eligible foreign expatriates. TAT recommends that travellers make sure to check the small print of any COVID-19 insurance policy before purchasing. Ultimately, the policy should cover the cost of treatment and other medical expenses associated with being infected with COVID-19, including in-patient hospitalisation, hospital isolation, hotel isolation, or related quarantine. The insurance policy should also cover the whole duration that travellers are planning to stay in Thailand, plus at least 10 extra days as a precautionary measure in the event that the traveller’s second swab test result returns as positive. https://www.tatnews.org/entry-thailand-frequently-asked-questions/ “
  18. Why would there be? Only in Thailand would this even be brought up.
  19. https://www.privacytools.io/#browser “Web Browsers for better Internet Privacy” Chrome not recommended because Google… Brave is on the list though: ads & tracker Fast Win Android iOS Mac Linux Not a popular choice within the privacy community but it offers a complete package out of the box on all platforms and is suitable for beginners or if setup time is a factor at the given situation. Wikipedia offers more information about it's controversies.
  20. “Finra&River” reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where Elaine was working for Mr. Pitt - the merger of Poland Creek and Morgan Springs water companies. New name - Moland Springs ???? - classic episode.
